I went right to their site and purchased 10! Transfered to my flash drive and went straight to my Big Bertha (10 needle), now I have 30 bookmarks waiting for magnets. Thank you Jess, you inspire me to get busy!! I did fussy cut the cats heads for the embroidery. I actually had that exact fabric.
You have inspired me to use my embroidery function more. I have a brother innovis 1250d and I haven’t really used the embroidery unit much. I didn’t realize you can do all this cool stuff on it. I love my machine though. For a domestic machine it kicks butt. If you use tiny rare earth magnets they can be slipped inside the bookmarks. They are very strong magnets.
I love these! Thank you. And thank you for sharing some of the reasons why you wouldn't put the magnets in between layers of fabric. I was thinking about attempting that, but it's not worth it potentially damaging my machine.
OMG just made 3 Sporky bookmarks. Just love Crashing Waves, as the designs are adorable and well digitized. I got 3 other designs and so I’m going to town making today!! Thanks for this tutorial!❤
Yay! I love your tutorials, but most especially your embroidery videos. You are enthusiastic, encouraging, and a great teacher! My 13 and 11 year olds both use your tutorials for sewing and embroidery (I do, too😊). Thank you!
Lol I’ve been doing ITH Projects for years and definitely didn’t *need* to watch this video , but because you made one I *had* to watch your video because you are fantastic
Possible to do a cutout in the back for the magnet. Than glue it in with a small marginal (? Frame/ rim/ brim (don’t know the right word for it)) of fabric to glue on to of the magnet 🍙 like this😁
Jess this looks like SEW much fun! I bought the pattern and want to start-I love your magnet ideas-but how big are these magnets? 1/4 inch? Bigger? Smaller? I LOVE your links and the file doesn’t say anything as far as size either. Thanks for your help! There are several kids in my life who will LOVE these!
Hello Jess, I am getting an embroidery machine for Christmas. My question is what is the best digitizing software should I use? Also the best embroidery machine should I buy other then the Brother PE 800. And yes I am a beginner.
Looks like all the designs need a 5 x 7 hoop which I do not have or own a embroidery with that size hoop... Mine only does the 4 x 4 hoop unfortunately... someday hopefully I can afford one, but till then I can be Jelly of all the beautiful things you make...
Super duper cute! You know, fussy cutting that cat face from that adorable cotton fabric, would look so cute!
Hi! You've a gorgeous picture on your profile ☺️ just decided to stop by and say hi! I hope my compliment is appreciated 😊

Love the book mark need to make some
Wish you would do some for a 4X4 hoop. Love your videos.
The cat paw is so cute!! I’m so sad my machine is only 4x4.
I love this so much. Are there any site with designs for 4x4 hoops?

What magnets did u use
Could you have put the magnets behind the pink waterproof canvas to hide the magnet and metal disk?

I took a “paws” on this project.
Is there a free embroidery software? I have a brother machine too that I use to sew but would love to be able to do more embroidery.
Are you going to sell these at your shop?? I want to buy some for sure!!
