In this workshop, you will discover the 10 best practices to become a SOLIDWORKS Pro in days (not years) without boring practice, expensive training classes, or any pointless theory.
@EasyCADSolutions
In Exercise 29, you will learn how to create 'Leaf Patten' on the spherical surface by using surface and feature commands in Solidworks. In this tutorial, you will also learn to use the surface loft command effectively to achieve the desired result.
Important Commands Used:
-Loft Boss/ Base
-Reference Geometry (Plane, Axis, and Point)
-Split Line Tool
-Split Tool
-Delete Face Tool (with Delete and Fill Option)
-Surface Loft
-Thicken

Figuring out the 6 to 5 polygonal split and both axis is the most difficult thing.
It has existed for many centuries of course, and quite well presented in the classic ball in football (soccer): hexagons and pentagons.
Thus can be done with large pentagons and small triangles as well, the patterns will be different.
This is next level! Possibly the most complicated pattern.
Thanks for your insights 👏
Music is amazing, I was tired to listen the same classic music in every video. This music was great, the modeling is very advanced
Thank You 🙏
I learn more features of solidwork by following your videos and these makes my mind to think creative CAD products in solidworks
I am glad to hear this 🙏
Thanks for Watching
Happy Modelling 😊
I'm learning a lot from the videos and enjoying solidworks more and more for being able to reproduce the projects that are presented here. Thanks for sharing so much knowledge. A happy subscriber here from Brazil.
Welcome 😇
Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
Spatial thinking is of the highest level.👍
Thanks 🙏
As always, great modeling!!
Thanks 👍
Tebrik ederim. Harika ve eğitici bir video olmuş.
İzlediğiniz için çok teşekkürler
OK, finally got my earlier version (2015) to cooperate enough to finish this piece. My 2015 version had a couple of issues (it refused to delete & fill at 17:17, so I just used chamfer, and it looks ok). Anyway, the finished model looks great, so I'm a happy subscriber. :)
Great 👌
I have used fillets then delete because it's easy and quick instead of 3 separate chamfers
But i really like the way you do it
Cheers
Happy Modelling 😊
Same here, it works on 2/3 but solidworks crashes
So cool design....you have no comparison over youtube ❤️❤️❤️ sir
Thank you so much for watching my videos and supporting my channel

Beautiful exercise.
Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
i have years of solidworks usage and I still learnig features, I used to use Rhino to make this type of work but more fun on Solidworks Thanks !!!!!!
Thanks for watching my tutorials

@@EasyCADSolutions THANKS !!
@@EasyCADSolutions just finished it, how this come to you ? Maths ? I'm a 3D designer for long time in jewelry, and I could not and still could not be able to realize such a design like this without a step by step tutorial !! Thanks again
thanks for sharing

Hello, I am working on each exercise that you propose and I am working in detail to understand how each process is carried out, however, when you make the correction to eliminate the faces in the last coating, I did not understand why this happens. At what point is the possible mistake made (time 13:57) of creating some surface that later leads us to the failure of not being able to do the coating, I really appreciate your kind time and explanation.
Here i use the delete face tool with the delete and fill option because sometimes the loft surface fails to create the surface
If the problem occurs then try to make the surface loft without delete and fill command
Hallo...great tutorial... please make carbon bicycle frame with N power surfacing..
Sure, I will try to make it
But right now I don't have N power Surfacing extension in my Solidworks
Thanks for watching 🙏🏼

while doing circular pattern, 20:50, I had space between each hexagonal pattern instance unlike yours
what could've happened here, did it happen way at the beginning or do I have to toggle any settings in circular pattern?
You need to make a new part from the beginning in a new part file with exact steps as shown in the video
@@EasyCADSolutions it's spaced as if I need the line at 2:16 to be longer to adjust the angle even though I put 100mm as you did, but I'll try it from the start since it's fun XD thanks btw :)
sir, I am not able to find the command of (OFFSET ON SURFACE) in Solidworks 2015. can you suggest me where to find it or any alternate method to do this command
Sorry, but there is no such command in Solidworks 2015 because offset on surface command is introduced in SW 2017 or later versions
But you can make three individual planes on the faces by selecting any 3points of the curved diamond faces,
Then sketch on the plane and make offset sketch on that plane and then perform the surface trim and similarly do it on other two faces
Hope it will help you
Happy Modelling 😊
@@EasyCADSolutions please do a video on this subject, im stuck in this part.
Were i can find the link, i didn't find it
Link of what, Boing 747 or Model?
Клас!
Благодаря
at time 12.49 , I am not able to surface loft .I followed the process.
Delete and fill the fillets by using delete face tool and then make the loft
Hope it will work for you
Happy Modelling 😊
Is this even possible in nx cad ????
It's also a good cad software
So may be yes
MUY COMPLICADO . Me quedo difícil .
Try my other tutorials similar to this
Ah- the PatternMeister strikes again! I recognize this pattern - looks like an adaptation of your Leaf Pattern On A Ring model.
Yes, it's similar to the pattern on the ring but modelled in different way
Пора бы уже covid-19 смоделировать
It's time to model covid-19 already
Sure, I will try to make it😅
