kinda late but same here lol. after a few hours of my runs regularly eating it around 13 min mark, i somehow made it to 27 min-ish with Po (garlic dude) on library. and when my wand and fireballs evolved during the run, and then that run ate hard shit, i thought, "alllright time to scope this out on TH-cam, theres clearly more going on here, that i reallllly dont want to discover on my own" thanks for this awesome video though dude 👍👍 gonna implement this wisdom for sure, and do so some experimenting with the evolved weps
For an absolute beginner I'd personally go with Garlic over the Laurel. Garlic does a number of great things for a new player: kills mobs on contact for early XP gems, increases knockback to create escape lanes when surrounded, and each tick of damage causes enemies to stutter for a frame. Also, the PowerUp option Amount is an amazing boost to offense, further enhanced when you unlock the Duplicator.
I'll be honest, my one issue with this video is that the mic makes your voice sound really harsh and it sounds like it's constantly clipping,. Other than that it was straight to the point, had a short intro, and very informational!
its an amazing game that has only gotten better and better since the last time i played it a bunch. as one of my first videos on youtube stated, its the best $3 spent on steam AND its now free on PC Game Pass too.
Im 3hrs in & had a great run in the library with max garlic and crosses and after I hit 30mins all enemies died & the vamp 1 hit me into oblivion! So I'll concentrate on maxing luck. Thanks for the tips
I dunno man. I go after the bosses. Easy chest drop for another upgrade. I didn't realize they do so much damage. I always get killed when I get swarmed in to badly.
That makes it relatively good for the linear stages like Inlaid Library or Gallo Tower, as 50% of the time it'll be directed towards one half of the stage and then 50% of the time at the other. You can combine that with stage terrain to bottleneck enemies in the path of the lancet.
If you mean the evolutions, yeah. You get a weapon to level 8, have the upgrade passive at any level, and chests can evolve your weapons. For union weapons you'll need both at level 8 but it works the same way, e.g. Peachone and Ebony Wings both at 8 and a chest will give you the upgraded bird.

Buy one or two points into em with gold before the start, otherwise focus on offensive traits/weapons. and skip out on garlic, its only good in the begging. Good vid though!
I’m making an advanced video that is on those lines. For beginners its helpful to help them learn and make progress. It’s only possible to get multi reaper through glitching/freezing as it instant runs at you and Insta kills you. Early on I got to 3 reapers by accident but there’s really no point as it’s meant to be an end of run mechanic and it’s about getting as high levels as possible beforehand. I’ll be making a video on that as well. Recently got lvl 146 (pb for someone that has had the game a little over a week).
@@Dyne191 that’s interesting. The reaper seems to go straight for me at laser speed and Indra kills. Only way I’ve ever “dodged” is freezing them and then refreezing before they got to me. No real benefit tho as nothing else drops

I think it’s great early on and is easy to use. For your first 30 min “clear” it can also be quite helpful but I find that even with the evolution it does not scale as well as some of the other weapons when trying to min/max level clears within the time limit.
ok so the only thing I really got from this video was that frozen enemies can't hurt and I kinda thought I discovered that myself. A lot of this stuff is pretty apparent. It really does make for a great game when you just play it I guess.
Haha I see what you did there. The concept is that you LEArN HOw to survive to 30 minute. When a person is a beginner they most likely will die before reaching 30 minutes (the auto death point) a lot. 😂😎
Rewatched this and I didn’t think it was that bad 😞 I use a Logitech for Creators Blue Yeti X USB Microphone that costs like $160. Maybe the acoustics just aren’t to your liking as I record in my garage/man cave.
@@SuperWolfkin 👍 I think the acoustics in my garage where my studio is also could be better but there is no financially viable solution for me. Yay California cost of living insanity. I do my best and I hope look overall find my content helpful enough to overcome some of the technical shortcomings. In TH-cam there are always pitfalls. Atm, for example, I’m stuck not making any content for a while as my graphic card died and my monitor is on the Frits.such is life, gotta roll with the punches.

Got to 33:07. Dodging the multiple reapers is crazy. Won't try to pass 4 though

Correct. Projective/skill speed (the gloves) also don’t affect it. The lighting ring scales great with # of projectiles, cooldown, area of effect!

i dont understand this game i evolved my weapons but every time i start a new game i have to re level the weapons again what am i doing wrong
Every time you play you start over. You just play different weapon combos to level as high as possible within the time limit
