Great list Sebastian! I would also put the following in above category 1. Rosendo Mateu - No 5 2. YSL - BabyCat 3. Matiere Premiere - Encens Suave 4. Ojar - Encens Cuirve
I don't know what is it about Deep Dark Vanilla that I can't get enough, it's weird, but I like it. Vanilla edesia and Dark Vanilla also are amazing for me. Estrella de la Mañana is coming, already at customs in USA 😁 Vanille Des Afriques Intensivo and Vanille Supermassive already on my list. Great video and selection, thank you Sebastian!!!
How wonderful. I’d recently purchased a fragrance direct from Initio and received one of their little sample sets and Absolute Aphrodisiac was among them. Had a (first time) spray when I got to that point in the video and enjoyed your description. 😀
I’m very surprised that you haven’t yet tried Les indemodables vanille Havane..I think you’ll like that one for sure, especially with a trained nose like yours..hope you get your hands on it
Thank you for another great topic to ponder. I never really thought about vanilla as a masculine or feminine note. Like you, and many on this channel, if I like a fragrance I wear it. I do think that some of the fragrances on your spicy vanilla video could fit into a "masculine" typing but vanilla as a whole to me is neutral. That said, I did just get told by a friend that she couldn't wear the vanillas in my collection because they were too masculine.😅 I will have to go resmell my vanillas. Again, thanks for the video. Have a Great Day All! 🎉🎉🎉😊
Hello Sebastian, there is Vanille de Sambava from Noème Paris, a recent fragrance. Why isn't there the perfume listing as usual with the descriptions ?
I only recently tried Vanilla Edesia, and I hated it for 5 minutes and then I loved it. I bought a full bottle by the end, but I agree that it is different and it takes some thought. I also think it's an extremely masculine vanilla. Very unique.
In some women's magazine, lol, I read that men like perfumes with vanilla (on women, but why not on them too?). So, this list makes sense. I literally have the final five you listed here and really like all of them. I can imagine enjoying any of these and would be curious to see if any of them seem too masculine to my nose.
I have a decant of PDM Carlisle and I really enjoy it. Wonderful scent. Unfortunately, this doesn't last too long on my clothes or skin. I can comfortably say 2 - 4 hours. Over all... it's a wonderful scent. Thanks Sebastian for your reviews, I really enjoy them. ❤
When I first got into fragrances, I did not expect to like vanillic scents, and I didn't make any effort to try them. I finally got my nose on a few of them, though, and ended up falling in love. Lune Feline was the one that changed everything for me. Its still my fave, but I also love the Laborattorio Olfattivo vanillas: Tonkade, Vanagloria, and Vanhera). Vanille Supermassive is great too, and I'll eventually have to get a full bottle.
Before I started collecting fragrance, I used to think that vanilla fragrances would smell like vanilla flavor in milk or candies. And when I sniffed tobacco vanille, it smelled nothing like that which made me disappointed. Until I finally found 1 Million Elixir which exactly met my expectations about how vanilla fragrance should smell
I own half the fragrances in this video, you think I have a vanilla obsession? I like all kinds of vanillas but I'm mostly wearing gourmand vanillas these days.
I guess I didn’t think it was but again this is a very subjective topic. The ones I found to be the most masculine are the ones I featured in this video. I guess it could go on the bottom but again very subjective.
LOL. Tobacco is usually associated with masculine fragrances not feminine. There are no flowers in tobacco Vanille. I’m sorry your nose smells an old woman. Get your nose out of an old woman, and you won’t smell it anymore! LOL!
But i think he got a point. I mean, yeah, i have three bottles of TV and tbh.. it's good.. but it's really unisex. Plus, it's not really a tobacco-like scent in my book. At least not the kind of tobacco that reminds you of an unlit cigar. It's more of a very sweet scented tobacco thing with a lot of fruits. The tobacco in TV is almost not existent. To some it may just smell like plum. But i like it, it just doesn't live up to its name and is definitely unisex.

Great list Sebastian! I would also put the following in above category
1. Rosendo Mateu - No 5
2. YSL - BabyCat
3. Matiere Premiere - Encens Suave
4. Ojar - Encens Cuirve
Vertus Vanilla Oud
As a woman, I get the most compliments when I layer Phlurs vanilla skin with Givenchy Pi.
Um ok....this list is labelled MASCULINE fragrances.....
Great video and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try these fragrances and have a blessed day
Great list Sebastian, I think Van Pyrum from Lorenzo Pizzaglia should have made the list. Cheers Brutha 😎

Thanks for the excellent video!
Dark Vanilla is soo good. It is beast mode and lasts weeks sprayed on clothes. YSL babycat is also really nice and No.5 by Rosendo Mateu.
Great list! I am not gourmand lover and recently discovered a vanilla that I think leans masculine Oud Vanille Cartier luxury line
How wonderful. I’d recently purchased a fragrance direct from Initio and received one of their little sample sets and Absolute Aphrodisiac was among them. Had a (first time) spray when I got to that point in the video and enjoyed your description. 😀
My fave' masculine vanillas are Babycat and Encens Suave
Oh yes I can see this
Great video! In adition I would add Elephant by Zoologist Perfumes as it is a masculine green vanilla to my nose
I’m very surprised that you haven’t yet tried Les indemodables vanille Havane..I think you’ll like that one for sure, especially with a trained nose like yours..hope you get your hands on it
Surprised me as well.
What do you think of Royal Crown Sultan? I would consider it in the realm of masculine vanillas
Savvy I haven’t really played around with that one too much must circle back to it

Good point! I have heard this. 😀
@@ThePerfumeGuy Yay!
XANATH (Ponsà Barcelona) es el mejor perfume de vainilla que he probado. Lo recomiendo ❤
El Born by Carner Barcelona is yummy and masculine in my opinion. I recommend it.
I recently put my nose on Vanilla Powder. I wouldn't have thought to categorize it as masculine. To my nose it's unisex, leaning feminine.
My very favorite vanilla is Perry Ellis’ Black Vanilla Absolute…I bought up a few bottles when it seemed as if it was going to be discontinued.
When I first got into fragrances, I did not expect to like vanillic scents, and I didn't make any effort to try them. I finally got my nose on a few of them, though, and ended up falling in love. obsessed with Eau des Baux L'Occitane
I have a bottle. I haven’t smelled it for a while. I’ll see how it smells these days to me.
I adore Vanilla Edessia
Est-ce que Habit Rouge parfum à sa place dans ce classement ?
Vanille Havane is great to ny nose.

Memoirs of a Tresspasser was my and my husbands honeymoon scent ❤ ill keep a bottle as long as they make it.
One that I really like is Dionisio by Tiziana Terenzi.
Ani is a perfect vanilla!
Maybe I missed it but did you mention Dior Vanilla Diorama?
My two best are Sundowner from Tauer and Shalimar
I guess I didn’t consider sundowner to be a vanilla more of an amber, but I could see it
I just did my too 5 masculine vanillas not that long ago I am so pumped to see how our lists correspond!
A real cheapie that it’s excellent is Casablanca Swiss Arabian, smells close to silky wood , and another super masculine is Mancera Aoud Vanilla !
I can agree on Aoud Vanille, this stuff is ridiculously good
Silky woods elixir I can die for that green fig there omgg I didn’t smell anything like that
I prefer the masculine vanillas on myself, they just feel sophisticated and grown up.
No Babycat??? I find that an excellent masculine suede vanilla 😊 unisex but leans masculine
I own half the fragrances in this video, you think I have a vanilla obsession? I like all kinds of vanillas but I'm mostly wearing gourmand vanillas these days.
What about Celine black tie
I love the name Fat Elctrician. It's very catchy.😂
Nishane Ani and Jeroboam Ambra deserve a mention
I'd have included Vanagloria.
Dionisio is # 1
havent watched the video but, L'Occitane Eav Des Bavx, has to be here, no?
Didn’t Eugene just make this video yesterday?
Orom and van phy rhum??????
Very subjective topic could be the ones in my video are the ones I found to be the most masculine. 😀
@ThePerfumeGuy yes it is very subjetctive indeed! Off course i have not tried the 20, but i agree with the ones i know except vaniilla powder.
U Smells Good literally just did this topic. Who tells you all what to do?
Surprised Babylon didn’t make the list.
I guess I didn’t think it was but again this is a very subjective topic. The ones I found to be the most masculine are the ones I featured in this video. I guess it could go on the bottom but again very subjective.

Tobacco vanille is in no way masculine i gave my bottle to my mum. Its absolutely feminine. Old woman smell

Would Penhaligon's The Tragedy of Lord George also fall into this category?@theperfumeguy?
