It's a good story and one of the rare manga that is completed. I wish it would have continued but I'm happy it ended without it feeling dragged out or rushed. Good read for anyone interested.

One thing that urks me the most about this manga / novel is that the main character drops to 40 kg at the age of 13 and like, dude, that is not over weight even a tiny bit unless she's over 6 inches shorter than the average girl her age, which she clearly isn't.
The average weight for a 13 year old girl is between 35kg and 65kg, FAT doesn't even come into the vocabulary of a diatrition / doctor until 70+ kg
This means she's actually extremely close to under-weight by v2 ch 10, which is only 2 chapters after the end of this video.
We are dealing with scrawny noble lady standards here, if she isn't just skin and bone then she isn't underweight 👍

it is stated early on that she is 140.5 cm. the average 12 year old (she was 12 when the height was provided) is around 160 cm or a whole 6-7 inches shorter. So let's say she is now about 145 cm for simplicity sake when she is 13, 40kgs is a very healthy weight from what I can find online, whereas 60kgs is said to be very unhealthy/overweight.
This manga is written by Japanese people. Japanese people are shorter and thinner than the average westerner. Even if this is an isekai, they will put their standards into their stories. Or just by going with sci-fi rules this is a different planet, with differently evolved humans, where the average height and weight is different from Earth standards. She is considered fat in her culture and LOOKS fat in almost all cultures. The point about nobility being slightly overweight compared to the peasants is a valid one, but once again considering the target audience isn't nobility but average Japanese teenage girls it is an understandable sleight of hand by the writer.
lowkey this kind of troupe is one of my guilty pleasures and usually, the girl loses weight simply to look better but I love how she was like I can't be ugly because then I will become a minion. Lol.

Did it really get cancelled? Pretty sure it finished and was a smaller manga, Ii you ask me the last chapter felt like a final. Just because it's a manga doesn't mean it need 40+ chapters and if you ask me it finished on a good place even if it would been nice if they had continued but I rather having this feeling and they stop on a good point rather then dragging it out and make it mediocre.

What are you talking about max weight to ride a horse is 80kg...I've ridden many horses I'm 105-115kg. My instructor 2 decades ago was a lady 6 feet plus 300plus pounds who rode horses. Horses are not all the same. Some are so large they could probably have 2 folks at 300lbs each ride them

@@flamingundies3654 So what do you call soldiers in full armour and heavy lances. I agree that the horse you rode might have had a 80kg limit but all horses aren't the same. The reason why horses was used so much before motor vehicles were introduces was because of how much they could drag and carry. I don't know how heavy a carriage with goods are, but I think it would be more then the horse carry 80kg. Horses also dragged cannons which to my knowledge are quite heavy.
