Don is such a great guy. He and Harold were always so kind and Harold was hilarious. Whenever we ended up in the same places he always had a joke and that deep laugh. These are great guys
Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to Don, Phil, and Jimmy. Still miss the GOAT in country and southern gospel. May your holidays be extra special.
Thank you so much Mr. Don for sharing your videos with us! It warms my heart every time I get a new video! It just thrills me! I learned a few years ago, when we were visiting the Biltmore at Christmas, they had the presents hanging on the tree! Apparently, back in the 1800’s in Queen Victoria’s time that is how they decorated the trees! Anyways, hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving! God Bless
At age 70, The Statler Bros are my fav group of all time---and I'll Go To My Grave Loving You my fav song. In 1978, my GF who became my wife, had to listen to me sing it to her going down the highway before I proposed to her. For years it was my startup "signature song" song at karaoke bars. I loved all the Bros', but Don Reid---thank you especially for the memories.
So wo nderful to see Don again. Sounds great, looks great, always look forward to hearing from Don. Best, safe happy holidays, sing alittle 'round the piano. Much love to Don and Debbie and family/friends. Prayer for Harold and Lew/Lou(?) and everyone this holiday season. 🙏...xo
Hello Mr Reid. I am looking for a song done by Jimmy Fortune. I do not know the name of it . He finds a letter in an old book and he sings what's in the letter. Can you help me with the name of it
Didn't people actually hang beautifully wrapped sweet treats, sugarplums and sweet treats of the day "on" the Christmas tree in the very early post-colonial days before electric lights? If they used candles, the lights could be enjoyed for only a very short time.
