Stopped in Burlington yesterday and they were loaded with Lattafa and others, I grabbed Khamara and Asad, saw a few others including Oud for Glory but passed. I have Ameer Al Oudh Intense and I love it, great alternative to By the Fireplace
Hey gerard, keep an eye out for maahir legacy at your local Burlington, they have them around with the holiday cologne bundles they normally put out. Just got mine and it smells great!
Ameer Al Oud was one I got early on when I started collecting 2 years ago, it's a comfy scent, I have even sprayed it on at night before bed. basically marshmallows by the fireplace. it's not "complex" but what it does it does very well. And yes I have layered it, it goes well with many other frags, do you have something sweet and fruity? layer it, have a heavy vanilla frag? layer it. it should work well with any heavily floral scent, so guys if you have something you think leans too feminine for comfort, layer some Ameer Al Oud, and "man it up" some. even though Ameer is unisex, the heavy use of oud/wood levels the playing field. I love sweet smoky ouds, and have about 5 frags with different variations oud/rose, oud/herbals, oud/leather etc. it's a very flexible note, that can smell like soft woody not, to intense smoky forest fire smell, it can also be dampy like wet wood and smell like a barn and animalic. oud can be 5 different notes it seems.
Man Burlington has been on it for sure! They had so much good stuff. I left with a bottle of Lataffas amethyst badee Al oud so freaking excited to smell this stuff
Last year I found a PR Phantom EDT Gift Set at Ross for $49 during the holiday season. It contained a 100ml & 10ml. What a steal. Hopefully I get lucky this year as well.
I have Ameer Al Oud Intense and i totally agree with your take on it...very linear/simple but it is warm and inviting for this time of year. I consider it the proto-typical mid-east scent because I feel Lattafa, and their many offshoot brands, used this scent dna as the base/backbone to many of their fragrances...especially in releases from a few years back.
My burlingtons usually suck. Yesterday I was shocked- Kamrah, Qaed Al Fursan, Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited, Assad, Oud for Glory, Bade’e Al Oud Amethyst, Suqraat, Ramz Gold, Ameer Al Oudh, Ramz Silver, Bentley Black Edition, Bentley for men EDT, lots of banana republic, crazy!! I got Suqraat yesterday and TOTALLY agree with your assessment of
I don't understand why they make it so hard for you to see the price tags in these safety boxes they do that at my Burlington also. It's common sense to just put the price tag on it so you can see it thru the clear box.
I too have been racking up on Lattafa in my local rack store. My fav finds so far have been Blue Oud, Velvet Rose (intoxicating rose scent), Ameer Al Oudh, Hayaati Florence 💯, Maahir (came with a gift bag too🤩), Eternal Oud, Khamrah Qahwa, Fakhar Lattafa, Qaed Al Fursun, Ameerat Al Arab (good for layering), & Amethyst & Oud for Glory (Bade’e Al Oud)…. I have more, but those are my top picks so far. Waiting to come across Maahir Legacy 🤞🏽…until then I’ll be enjoying what I have lol
I went to BCF on my way home from work because I saw the thumbnail of your video earlier today. My BCF had the same Fragrances but I didn't see Zanzabar. I thought of buying the Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud but I passed because my wife made a stank face when she smelled By The Fireplace that smells similar to it. I passed on the Suqraat because it's out of season. Looking forward to seeing more Fragrances at BCF in the future.
I've had ameer intense for a year and had many compliments from it. It improves over time for sure and darkens..my daughter has worn it for school and I can smell it on her easily 8 hours later.
I'm always a little leery of blind buying Middle Eastern fragrances. So many of them have that "funk" or "twang" that you mentioned. Doesn't mix well with the high heat of Texas. No idea how they wear them in the heat of the Middle East!
If you see Sahari - Ramz Al Sahara, it’s a clone of Creed’s SMW with some added lemon, tuberose, and vanilla. It’s bomb. Just picked it up at Marshall’s; the box was open, so I had a sniff and immediately thought, “That’s SMW,” because I was wearing SMW! I recognized it right away.
@ about as long as the original SMW so no 😂 I got like 4-5 hours on my skin but it was $17 not complaining lasted longer on clothing I can still smell it on my shirt. If you’re looking for a good long lasting SMW clone go with club de nuit sillage or supremacy in heaven.
I went to 2 Burlingtons today looking for Suqraat after seeing it last week. I literally saw a vid on a local guy's fragrance channel of my Burlington with multiple bottles filmed last night and totally gone by today :( I guess the massive (and pricey) 6.7oz AdG EDP will have to hold me over lol. This is kinda awesome and performance strikes me as abnormally good. My first full bottle AdG actually.
@@RCSkunkWorX that's awesome. I seen this at the store and didn't pick it up because I wasn't sure what I was getting. I'm going to go back and grab it if it's still there.
Was at work and a colleague came and smelt very nice, asked what it was and said Ameer Al Oud. So apparently it smells way better in the air then smelling it off skin. Revisit these two in couple of months and see how they change, Lattafa fragrances get much better with time as you might have noticed already
I personally have 16 of the best Lattafa brands. I did buy 5 from Burlington store, but Jomashop was always cheaper. Believe me I compare them as i buy. The cool thing about Burlington store if you don’t like the smell, you can just walk in there and return it. They do not care and I’ve been to four different Burlington stores and they’re all the same. If you purchase something from Jomashop, you can always return it, but you just have to pay the shipping, I bought nine from Jomashop all Lattafa ,and I return three and it cost me seven dollars to return them. They took it right off the balance.
I have the Oud Intense, and for me the dry down is where it shines. I also have Ramz Silver which is an Ultra Male clone, which I like better than Ultra Male and 9pm. Maair is also good too, and Aasad kind of weird bottle but the juice is great. A lot of there other fragrances have rose in them, this is not for me.
Was in there today and they were literally loaded Qaeed al fursan, lattafa amethyst, suqraat, asad, asad zanzibar, ameer al oudh amd alof more lattafas snagged the suqraat for 20

Ameer is interesting as when I first got I enjoyed it was wasn’t blown away, then I tried it again like 4 months later and disliked it because I noticed a spice like cumin in it, so I put it away, then I tried again recently like 6 months later and I enjoyed it again and didn’t mind the spice note and in fact thought it made the fragrance more interesting.
@TheDoooburner I'm pretty happy with it! I was nervous getting another fragrance with the DNA, but it sounded different enough and I was not disappointed
Went to three Burlingtons today expecting to find Ameer Al oud and Suqraat. Nothing. I did see Zanzibar, Khamrah, Ramz silver and Gold, Asad and Qued Al Fursan though. Btw...smell Ramz Gold...its horrible. Rose, woods and vanilla. Sprayed my hand and stunk until i could scrub it off.
Like Zanzibar, LOVE khamrah, Like ramz silver ok, Qaed al Fursan is great, Haven't tried Asad yet. Suqraat doesn't do anything for me. Oud for Glory & (Glory and Honor) are great.
Man,you don’t rummage into the backs of the shelves like I do. I never know what’s hiding back there. I’m always hopeful that some bottle of Creed or Xjeroff is hiding back there. Sadly it’s just more CR7 and Michael Jordan most of the time.
