They removed some OG cars so I guess that's the tradeoff
I think the stealth upgrade is better, considering that the Avenger is not moving at all when autopilot is engaged, it will be an easy target even for non-homing missiles
Its so large you need to be blind not to see it even if off radar.
Yea either way, it's massive and easy to see and big enough too hit easily also, so both upgrades are iffy at best.
When auto pilot is engaged and you’re in the back it already can’t be locked on to, so it’s just a waste of money

I am speechless about the avenger’s upgrades. I will admit I think both stealth mode and the missile jammers are both awesome upgrades and I would not mind if we can use both. But for tactical reasons I would rather have the jammer to avoid Oppressor pests. But I hope I could enter the avenger with my deluxso while the avenger is in the air like how you use the jetpack to do so.
I think many are overlooking the stealth / lock on jammer…. It’s for AUTO PILOT only… it’s going to serve literally no point . You will be taken out the air just as fast lmfao . Stealth mode will be nice

Can you use the original thruster as well? Or is there a way to upgrade the avengers thruster? Its kind on lacking.. No boost, weapons, counter measure etc... But all that being said just to get able to board the Avenger mid flight is fine with me..
@@derrickwar would be real nice to be able to store our actual thruster in there that’s customized. But looks like this is just a means of transport so we can keep avenger in the sky . Def cool, but they should of added at the least boost / counter measure

I became livid when you couldn't even customize the damn thing.
Then I just became depressed when I realized you had to wait 2 minutes after spawning it on the ground, giving it literally no advantage over the personal one. Worse in every way...
I swear they gotta start adding some new Mercedes AMG’s or daily drivers to the game. They should atleast release a new Schafter.

It's worth mentioning that the missile jammer for the Avenger used to be by default. If it was in autopilot and you were in the hold then missiles wouldn't be able to lock on.
Ron’s call was new he was going to tell you about being able to put a avenger in the hanger and about Rooster😂😂😂
I think stealth will be best for auto pilot, missile jam while in auto pilot people can still aim straight or put on explosive sniper rounds to shoot down📌
I agree not to mention the avenger used to have missle jam before, so players already know how to adjust that battle. But being off radar, and it applying to ur thruster and when ur running around is next level

I think that in autopilot mode bc you can't move at all and the thing is so big that the jammer doesn't matter bc you lock on to a vehicle bc it is moving around and you want to hit it, if the vehicle is sitting still there no point in locking on, just point at it and fire. The stealth is way way more horrific because imagine the range and damage of the avenger cannons but off radar and at night. Youd never see it coming and it would be hard to find out where you're being orbital cannoned from
The autopilot missile jammer is useless that plane is so large if you can’t hit it you need to reconsider your missile aim skill

The jetpack on the Avenger is very useful for the mission. Sucks that you can't put missles on it and it's made out of cardboard

Theres a new battle pass looking thing if you go to career in the pause menu thing goes on forever you get limited clothing, brand new clothing, liverys, money and more a video on this would be highly recommended

anyone else having an issue where when you pull the avenger out of hangar after upgrading it’s stock again
both the lock on jammer and the stealth mode could be a massive problem in public lobbies. i would recommend to grind in invite only for the foreseeable future.
Unless they both work only while in auto pilot mode, in which case, they are by far the best balanced things in this game atm

@@jonathansantos200 if you buy the thruster accessory put your Avenger in hover mode and activate auto pilot through the interaction menu it allows for you to exit and also enter while in flight.. That wasn't possible before without a glitch or hack.
I’m so happy that they reworked the avenger! One of my favourite aircraft fr. I still don’t believe we got that jet, it truly looks like a mod, also the new register as boss feature seems really good

The missile lock jammer is pretty much useless since it only works in auto pilot. When you're a sitting duck. You don't need lock on to kill a stationary avenger.

Dang, the thruster is my main vehicle and I really wish I could use my personal one in the avenger. It’s still cool you are now able to actually return to your mid air avenger

How is a missile lock on jammer better than a stealth module all auto pilot does is keep it in the air so its a stationary thing all you need to do is manually aim but stealth mean you won't show up on the map therefore if you're high enough you can easily kill people close to you and they wouldn't see you until its too late

They removed more than some OG vehicles..
The return options are updated as the following goes. Go to interaction menu > services > Avenger > return options > Hangar or Facility/ return Avenger thruster. Hope this comment helps for those newer players to the game!!! Enjoy your day!!!😄😄😄

I think you can add your Thruster into the Avenger. When I went to use my Thruster while everything was still parked it had an option, I didn't stop to look at the options, but figured I'd say something.
I tried, but the only one that goes inside is the one you buy as an upgrade from the hangar.

The Beagle in GTA-SA was based on the BN-2 Islander while this one is inspired by the Twin Otter. Two very different planes, the only thing they share is the twin prop.

I was going to comment on previous videos that the new jet based on the F35 would be priced at around 5 million. But I knew no one would probably listen, but yet here I am and I was right :)
There was a screen next to the Thruster, I don't know if that might have some features to play around with
Neither lock on jammer or stealth are OP because those are only active in autopilot, they're actually barely helpful. I'm not saying they won't make it slightly harder for someone to initially spot you or hit you with missiles, but if your enemy can't spot or hit a stationary Avenger they're barely a threat in the first place.
Was in autopilot and went for a ride in the thruster, looked up ( I bought the stealth mode) and I could see the strobes flashing. Not sure if other players would have been able to see that or not. Tried to get back in but could not. I think the thruster must have a service ceiling? My avenger was quite high up in the clouds and it seem the thruster couldn't reach it 👀

Thing is, the stealth and lock jammers are gonna be iffy at best because... It's easy to see because its so massive, just look up and there it is, like some sky apartment, and with jammers on its still easy to hit, especially while it's hovering because of it's size, so like i said, iffy at best, and borderline pointless, but hey, at least they're both decent options regardless. 🤷🏾♂️

Just the explosive turrets were enough to the point that it should have been nerfed and not reworked.
I think you’re underestimating stealth with a plane like the avenger. The range of the cannons is basically infinite … you can stay stupid high in the air in stealth , where people can’t even reach you with rounds , and you can be raining down turret fire at them…

I know I'm a nobody and no one asked my opinion but this thruster is insulting, its a vehicle specific call to the avenger. The most direct comparison of which is... the terrobyte which gets the Oppressor mark 2. Ignoring that for a sec, it also can customise said oppresser which you cannot do at all with the thruster, you get no jet assisted take off, you get no countermeasures, no armor, no weapons just a massive lock on target for whoever is nearby. At an even more basic level than that, its main use is to get to a flying avenger, and yet the prompt to get in is buggy af and doesn't appear half the time. Like done rockstar test things. The second mission of this new dlc where you have to salvage the crates, I spot them in my avenger, I think I'll use my thruster to get down there the second I spawn out of my hold, a lock on missle shoots me. They put these missions and that tool in at the same time but there's no way they could have actually tried using it and thought yep this works well

Missile lock jammer doesn’t work when flying, just in auto pilot. It says at the top of the menu when you buy it.
