instead of creating a vector asset, simply copy your icon from the browser on you computer, and paste it into the drawable folder in android studio (just right click the drawable folder and click paste), this will import your own icon, and you can then refer to it as normal. (make sure there is no caps in your names)

how can I do this but with icons that I've created not by android defaults icons
