The interesting thing about Diam's is that eventhough she's not doing music anymore, she's still considered as one of the greatest rapper in France and I don't know a soul who doesn't know her. Her lyrics are very engaged and she was a loud voice in the fight against social injustice and racism. Great choice !

Diam's is THE femal figure in the French Rap even though she's not singing anymore. Her texts were really committed to fight racism, social injustice, the way the governement treats people in general.
Basically she converted to Islam and the French medias cancelled her immediately. She then made the choice to go back to a more normal life.
It's been years since she's released any song yet every kid nowadays knows her. So many classics.

Clearly one of the only French rap singers that was committed to things that matters. Not like most rap singers we could call racists, rapists and murderers... I miss her and her messages.
Ses messages étaient vraiment impactant car c’est une blanche qui le dit et elle viens d’un milieu assez haut tandis que les autre rappeur viennent de milieu défavorisé, et sont pour la plus part noir ou arabe donc ce qu’ils disent comme par exemple pour parler de racisme tout le monde ce dit c’est parce qu’ils font chier le monde car il viennent des quartiers chaud et que c’est pour ça qu’ils subissent du racisme
