Crab really just molds the meta around it... Stall deck? Auto lose. Combo? No gravestone auto lose. Aggro? Still lose. Hyper freeze aggro is the way and I got no idea how you make that.
And crab isn't old jeht where you're entire deck is built around it, you just need tenacity, you can even forget shielders (if first hand lucky ...)
Will never forgive it tanking a diluc overload ult with gravestone and +2 from white glove fisherman.

Stall against crab is auto lose, combo and aggro not really. Because your dmg is so much faster, you have to try to be as fast as possible. If you manage to kill two other characters early, crab won't have that much stacks already and you will start to chonk the shield as well. And if shield stacks are not high enough, crab doesn't deal any significant dmg so is then no threat to you.

I have this deck idea: Nahida, Raiden, Wanderer
1) Raiden summon then NA for burst ( with mona card is better, the faster the burst the better)
2) switch to Nahida and do the 5 dice skill ( don't burst unless needed, swirl not quicken )
3) end the match with wanderer
Bonus: if wanderer died, use Nahida and burst if you haven't burst her

Lemme explain the crab talent for you: (cause I'm a ✨Pr0fFessIoNAl✨ crab player)
First of all, about the shield thingy, the talent allow you to have 2 extra shields (once per round) whenever a "yellow shield" got removed!
There are three ways to trigger it:
1. Shields on teamates got removed based on the Crab passive.
2. The crab does not have any shield when the round start.
3. This is the special case, which you have the helmet on the crab. You can see that at each round, the helmet always produce 2 shields for the crab but it is seperate until you do something for all the shields to stack based on crab passive, so in other word that also count as "removing" shields from a character!
Note: the action of you creating shields using crab when it already had it shield will not trigger the talent. (If other characters doesn't have shields)

I won against a crab deck using Ganyu freeze though I think my opponent was new to using it. I started with Ganyu since typically in crab decks, people start with Layla/Diona or whoever procs shields. I figured that even if they stuck to crab, they could only protect their characters for so long before they die while crab gets frozen.

Lol i also use the Crap but with Zhongli, Xingqui! i use all zhongli's skill for shields, and then i farm xingqui burst!! XD
