Thanks for your lovely video. The house has so much character.
Just a, pity it has no garden but that might suit many people.

Thanks for watching Caren, and your feedback. Please follow my channel when you could consider buying a property investment in this area. The market is about to explode, or so it feels. This after years of decline, a peaceful elections and anticipation of mortgage rates going down. We also have a big property development nearing completion on the banks of the Liesbeek River, with a modern supermarket opening up in December :)

Ricardo, thank you for taking your time to reply. The price you pay to be close to the mountain, the central city, sea and airport is higher than for properties further out. Houses, like this one, in this area, have modern additions, but they've been built more than 100 years ago - thick walks, wood floors, high ceilings, decorative fireplaces/doors/windows. It sold within a month after this video. Hope to get a better review next time 😆

Its actually a walk in wardrobe or dressing room. Closet is American.

Thank you for your comment Gail. The property sold about 6 months ago for R2.7m which is fair market value.

U are kidding me. No back garden and really not nice house. Extremely over priced. Rather buying the northern suburbs with that a price I can get a house four times that price with absolute modern interiors. Not impressed at all. Horrible house.

I'm sorry to say, but you have it wrong. The property sold within a month of listing for ZAR 2,700,000. Prices in this part of the city is high because of the central location. Thank you for your comment though. Looking for something cheaper though? Check out my www.hotpropertyincapetown.com. I'm your man! Werner

Hello Yvette, thank you for your comments. The asking price here was ZAR 2.85K and it sold for ZAR 2.7K. Prices are down from 2018 levels, and hopefully busy recovering. And yes, most of the houses in this neighborhood date back more than 100 years, with wood floors, high ceilings and Victorian fireplaces. As for my accent, maybe better to turn off the sound next time lol. Ek is 'n kerel van die Paarl :)
