Nobody transitions from beauty to anger as seamlessly as Red does. Their music always captures the essence of the struggle within. Love and hate, good and evil, right and wrong. I'm so glad they're continuing to make incredible music.
Tzakman a blend for sure, as this song is in a melodic minor key, similar to “Lost in You” and a few other of their big early hits. Definitely true to their sound for sure (unlike Release The Panic”)
I really like the ominous bridge. You expect it to go heavy right away, but the whispered "hate" followed by the eerie bass and singing before it finally builds to the scream is great.
RED is one of the most underrated rock bands. They have put out quality music over the years that compares very well with the stuff secular artists have put out. The band members are all very humble and they just let their talents do all of the talking. Strings, screams, drums and those explosive bass/guitar riffs are what make RED unique.

You should look up a few of their interviews and look more closely at a few of their songs (Glass House springs to mind for me) they don't really hide it. The context of Breathe Into Me is Christian as well. I grew up on that song. They talked at my WinterJam stop about their purpose for what they do and why they’re part of WinterJam being for God as their introduction to the song. It was very good.

I love how Red’s music videos are ominous and eerie. I don’t know what it is, but their music videos always make me feel this emotion I didn’t know existed. It’s similar to the eeriness I feel during the Fall or out in the woods alone.

I grew up to this kind of music since I was a kid , but what's different about red is that they kept their style not like other commercial bands as skillet, evanescence and other bands that we grew up listening to... much respect to red band.
Gone didn't sound like them though. Lack of strings, decent pop influence, and a lack of passion or something like that. Gone kinda sounded like they were making music just to make music to me and I couldn't hear the passion and feeling I did in their past albums. The song title Still Alive (Looking For a Reason) kinda summed up the whole album for me. It wasn't bad, aside from the Sia cover, but it just wasn't up to the standard for music and passion I have come to expect from Red. It didn't sound like them because of that missing passion.
