    I feel so sorry for the creature....Robert de Niro is an amazing actor

    I've always liked HOW he handles the book, the journal - as a child might who has never seen a book in their life, and has no idea what it even is.

    With the brain of the genius Prof. Waldman, he might have known what he was from the start, because Waldman tries to create life from dead pieces before he meets Frankenstein

    This always Makes me tear up in R rated films the monster feels bad for the farmer and lifts up the frozen crops and they thought it was a angel

    That scene makes me sad
    You help people without expect nothing...
    They don t know nothing about you... They just see a "Monster"
    You just Want a friend... That s all...
    So sad...

    One had horrifying thoughts when one heard of the casting of Robert De Niro as the creature - that the monster would wander through the film taunting its creator with De Niro’s characteristic lopsided smirk and twinkle of eyes. Thankfully, that is not the case, although some of De Niro’s scenes do seem to be painfully method acted. His scenes with Richard Briers’ blind hermit learning the word ‘friend’ do evince an authentic pain.
