- DZ, Jesse and Luca were on the CHL on TSN Panel and talked about some of the greatest hockey sticks of all time, touched on some of the best jersey numbers in hockey, shared their favourite Dale Derkatch moments, and picked their favourite CHL play from the month of January.

When Igor Larionov played for the Sharks, he got a shipment of right-handed sticks. They were from the first ever all-carbon fiber stick maker, Busch. Turns out that they were so thick, it was like a carbon fiber log. I didn't need another stick for almost two years. The slight heel hook made my one-timer accuracy miraculously decent. Always a spot in my heart.
Easton Stealth RS although it had its blade issues was truly one of the best. The ONE95 from Bauer also was a gem.
EASTON V9 Was everything the stealth was but with a better blade. Best stick I ever owned.

I was just thinking about the RS as this video was playing! Also, gotta give some honorable mentions to the Stealth 85S & 65S respectably for great childhood memories.
The RS was unreal, but I think the S19 has to be my all time favorite

Those missions were sick back in the day!! 3-4 year period where the Mission L-2 was all I bought and used!
I still have a red M-2, broke the blade but I loved it so much that I got a replacement blade. I think the Elias curve is the best ever. I’d buy 10 if they made them again.
One thing I hated was that kids (at least at the time, maybe still) somehow thought that the more expensive the stick the better the player they were. Or I saw it that way because my family was pretty poor and poured pretty much everything into my playing while kids would get a new Stealth or something every other month. I’m rambling. I’m just glad to see someone else hype Mission sticks.

That yellow Synergy grip was my first one piece and I felt like a superstar playing with it.

It's the Warrior Mac Daddy (baby blue) with the Nipple Grip. Best stick I ever used. Sadly I broke both and they stopped making them.

I still have my Easton synergy se16 without grip from like 10+ years ago. Its my favorite all time stick and i still use it to this day

I had a mission toxic with a Hossa Curve could snipe top corner all day long.
I think the Easton Stealth RS was the best combination of performance and looks. Although, the best looking stick in my opinion is the baby blue and orange Warrior Covert MacDaddy. Still have one that's never been used.
Favorite sticks of all time were the Easton S17 and Nike Bauer One95
one90 and one 95 were the best. havent found a stick that has felt the same since. the nexus comes close

@@joelom Yup was going to give an honorable mention to the vapor x line as well but never actually played with the top-end one back in the day. Was probably too young for the stick to make any difference anyways. I remember the XXX was cool but I remember really wanting the XXXX with the red colored carbon when it came out. I think as much as those sticks felt better than anything else (particularly the on95 for me) - the looks played a big part as well. Aesthetics were so much better back then and they were always coming up with something new in the graphics dpt. Don't get the same cool factor from sticks these days which probably effects the overall impression
@@bpastorb yeah i agree with the looks. the XXX lite was awesome because it was white with the fade to grey. the cool thing about the one90 and 95 was the color strip on the bottom. i remember bauer in a promo video saying it was to be easy to recognize a bauer stick when when someone raises their arms when they school. always stuck with me.
