- Today we take a look at a set of awesome greenhouses that function with just 2 resources. Water and Manure. No pallets needed or cardboard. Another fantastic way to add extra income to your bank account. There is 6 greenhouses in total including melons, strawberries, red cabbage, lemons, mushrooms and tomatoes. An excellent working mod and I would highly recommend this mod to add to any farm. There is also 2 different sale triggers to sell your product at. finally a green house that doesn't need a special loader or water tank.
I have loaded about 4 months ago, 'Placeable greenhouses by Steve' which look exactly like these but with slightly different crops and input capacities. (Lettice and tomatoes have 50% tank capacity for water and manure).
Do you know if these are compatible with the new Lizard greenhouses or will they overwrite 'Steve' if the new greenhouses are loaded?
If you cover the green house in whitewash, plastic or could build interior sheeting mushrooms could work. Warm, damp, dark(ish) just like the woods. Local producer, UK, actually uses a cave system for growing mushrooms, others have used ex-WW2 blockhouses. They usually share there environment with bats.
To me it must be the only building:
As Input
- Palletted "X" Seeds (Tomato, Lettuce, Cucumber, Strawberry, Melon etc.): They are purchased from the store.
- Animal manure / fertilizer: provided from animal farms. (Cow, Sheep, etc.)
- Drugs used in agriculture
- Water
- Empty pallet: It is done in lumber factory. (Using BoardPalette and nail)
- Cardboard: It is made in the cardboard factory. (Using chips and water)

Great review Nick, But I wish they would have studied what they are modding first. as anyone that has grown mushrooms know that you don't grow them in a greenhouse. They like it damp, wet and dark! I may come across as picky but it is that sort of taking things for granted, that winds me up. all they had to do was google it and watch a three minuet video, is that too much to ask? at least the others are fine. I wonder if I could stick a brick shed over the greenhouse part.
That's very true Jonathan. I didn't really think of that to be honest until you mentioned it, but I totally agree. Someone might take this idea and make a proper looking shelter for the mushrooms.
You can always take the window texture into Photoshop and darken it a bit. :)

Thanks for review of New Greenhouse Mod by Giants. I have them loaded in and all running well with the exception of Red Cabbage. Tried to place on Map (Canadian Ultimate) and the Red cabbage will NOT produce fruit, Tried twice and still no luck. All the other fruits work great, any ideas??
Which site did you get the 60,000ltr WATER Wagon, I've got the 30,000ltr and it takes too long to fill all of them up (I have 60 Greenhouses running on my map - its great fun!!!)

So this kinda makes the pallet and cardboard factories obsolete? I like them too. I might have a few different greenhouses on my map so I can keep making cardboard and pallets.

I just added this mod pace to my farm and I am having to re buy the sell point! have you seen this before ?
I think the cheaper products should have cheaper houses or generate faster as to make up the difference in sale price
