Thanks so much for watching! It's been a joy examining the history of each individual mission, and I really appreciate your endless support. Now that all of the chapters are done, it's only fair to ask: which one was your favourite?
I enjoyed the entirety of it, especially the miners carbide head lamp in chapter 6, and the Adirondacks (a place I’m extremely familiar with) in this chapter. :)
I loved the history you covered about Chapter 4 personally, so much I learned there about Saint Denis and the real world historical implications. That being said, you have to do a series for RDR1!!!
Tbh chapter 6 has everything that I love about rdr2. Crazy action, heartbreaking scenes, and it ties the side missions you did earlier to Arthur’s redemption and final ride before he dies.
Man, I can't believe this series is over already. This was a wonderful journey and I'm glad I came along with you. Here's to a possible series on RDO and RDR1!
Man, this has been easily one of my favorite series to watch. You do such a great job with all the research and narration for these. Every video is full of knowledge, and it really makes me want to go back and play just to look at it all again. I can't wait for the next videos. Keep up the terrific work!
I really loved the epilogue of this game. It was long as hell, which I hated the first game for doing, but here it really gave me a new love and respect for John. Watching him really try, and watching him better himself, was such a ride. I absolutely adored the mission where it's literally just a day on the town with him and Abigail. It does kind of make it even more bittersweet, though, knowing what comes in the next- err- in the first game.
I've been watching this series religiously since you started, and it's always been so fascinating, but I have to say, you absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one including stuff I never even considered to think of as historical. The addition of the history of women not taking men's names in the United States was an artful touch.
This series was SO INCREDIBLY well made, one of the best produced series' on the platform. It was a long wait since the last one but I'm so happy to hear that you'll continue with the series in different forms and later in the original Red Dead Redemption, I had been hoping you would make more of these videos. Theres alot of things that could make for a good ''Real History'' video, like the sidemission, gear and equipment aswell as everything that goes along with it like weapons and ammo.
I've been watching this series as I finish each chapter in the game, and I just wanted to say this is honestly some of the best gaming/history content I've ever seen. I'm currently on chapter 4, but I can't wait until I reach this video!
I'm actually really sad this is done now, I've been looking forward to these videos for awhile. I love this game and I loved hearing the real life instances and examples in the game you listed. I'm so glad to hear that while this part of Red Dead is done, there is still more to come. Thank you for your time and hard work.
I love your How Historically Accurate is Red Dead Redemption series. Love the detail and research you put into it. Being a history fan I did the same thing when I played Red Dead Redemption 2 and La Noire. Also, really enjoyed your La Noire video and the others you've made.
Dude thank you for making this series on historical accuracy of one of my favorite games of all time. I've been watching for months now and waiting for the next part to come out. These are just very entertaining to watch and im sad now that this series has come to an end because of how interested I've become. But thank you so much man for your time and effort to make this such a cool channel
One overlooked detail: in Quick Favor for an Old Friend, Uncle asks John if he thinks that the year is 1785. This may seem random, but Uncle can refer to a barn that was built in Ohio from about 1775 to 1865 and was later destroyed in a fire.
Oh I hope this series really continues with the side missions, RDO and RDR ! It's been so well written, edited, and documented, I enjoyed every single one of these episodes. Thanks for you're amazing work on your channel, from these type of videos, to those more personnal, I love your way of making them.
this is one of the most increadible games I have ever played, and after great work you have done this only made me look at RDR2 with even more admiration, thank you for doing these series, it was educational fun and greatly narated and researched. keep it up and cant wait to see more from you and this channel!
It's truly breathtaking how much effort they made to this game, it's clearly unrivalled to this day and I don't personally believe it will be in my lifetime

You're historical accuracy videos on rdr2 are some of my favorite to listen to in terms of historical videos on youtube. Much appreciate all the effort and care you put into the series
I check this channel everyday hoping that this episode dropped and I just didn't get the notification. My favorite series on TH-cam. Thank you for making these
Absolutely stunning achievement, this whole series. When I finish my novel (set in Texas in the 1890s but recalling events in the 1860s and 1870s), I might reach out to hire you as my fact-checker. If that's something you're open to.
It’s a bit late but I’m so happy to have found this series so long ago. It’s genuinely one of the best TH-cam series I’ve ever seen. While I’m sad it’s over, I’m glad to have experienced it
Yes finally it's here I so excited your content is amazing I could watch your talk about this stuff for years please do the side missions eventually I'd love to see that
Fun fact: All uncles singing in RDR 2 is sung by uncles original voice actor, "John O'Creagh". Who voice uncle in RDR 1. The in-game location "O'Creagh's run" is likely named after John aswell.
John O'Creagh didn't actually voice Uncle in RDR1-that was Spider Madison. O’Creagh was cast specifically for RDR2 but sadly died during production, and was replaced by James McBride. You're right though: that's John O'Creagh's singing voice!
Wow, I absolutely loved this series. The attention to detail and the way you drew lines to examples of actual history was really well executed. I*m thinking of striking up all the videos and watch them in order, from start to finish. But, I must ask; when you mentioned the first game and that there's much more history to discover there... does that mean you're going to scrutinize that as well? It being my favorite game of all time, I'm more than willing to accompany you on that ride, partner.
The best content on TH-cam is, unsurprisingly, about the best game ever. I enjoy these lessons in history very, very much and I'm grateful. And I was prepared for getting sad that this was the end, but then you mention side stories and characters! Now I'm just looking forward to more of this amazing stuff!
This whole series has been nothing short of superb. Cannot speak highly enough of it. The amount of time and effort you must have put into the research and studying, as well as making the video is crazy. All I have to say is thank you cowpoke!
The end of the most epic RDR 2 series here, ladies and gentlemen Thank you for your hard work, Real Pixels! Education you provided was quite enteraining indeed! 😊
This has been my all time favorite series! I love history and this has been so well done and in depth and straight to the point without throwing in comedic jabs. Looking forward to your next series, whatever it may be!
I loved this series Real Pixel! I really hope you do Red Dead Redemption 1 as there's a lot of content there but also I don't know if you would want to but there are a lot of side quests in red dead 2 that have rich history in some of those story lines as well. Maybe you could do red dead redemption 2 extras or something, I don't know just a thought but me and my brother have absolutely adored your historically accurate series and its just such a great series. You could honestly adapt this to other games as well such as rdr1, GTA: Vice City, San Andreas, there's a plethora of games out there with lots of rich history in the background that I'm sure not many people actually know about. Waiting to watch this video earlier in the day since its kind of late now, but as always thank you for making such a great series all the way to the very end, I just hope this will not be the last we see Historically Accurate as Rdr2 was easily the best one for this category but there are most definitely other games you could adapt this too. Hope to see more of this, as always fantastic content :)
Would be awesome to see you analyze the first game’s historical authenticity. It would arguably be more interesting given the fact that it takes place during a lot of historical moments like the Mexican Revolution and the final breaths of the American frontier lifestyle.
