This method focuses on both acceleration and high speed and about the final gear I recommend to make it in the same space as the first gear if u made it lower the car acceleration will be slower and the opposite is correct

Final drive is the range of all the gears together. Each of the gears is a gear reduction between engine and final drive via transmission. Final drive is gear reduction between transmission and tires via final drive.

Um, how do you keep first gear at high rpm (8000) when shifting from neutral? I have copied your steps (downshift to N >> Accel >> NOS) but when shifting from N to 1st gear, I always get low/medium rpm (4000-5000). For 2nd to 6th gear it's fine, they are consistent at 8000 rpm when shifting. Only from N to 1st gear that have problems

Tf you mean it didn't work for you it's not like that mess around with the gears different engines and mods will need different gear ratios, you need to learn for yourself by adjusting them and seeding how it works eg. Fully modded LT5 on a light weight car will have a lower gear ratio because of the HP to weight ratio making it accelerate a lot faster than say a spoon engine on a moderately weighted car which will need a bit higher gear ratio so the revs don't take forever to get up because it doesn't have as much horsepower for the weight of the car
