This articulated clown bus makes a funny and silly circus whistle/clown whistle type sound when it decelerates because of the Voith transmission. The transmissions on the RPTA’s XN60’s are funnier and sillier than the ones on their XN40’s 🤡🤡🤡 (the transmissions on the RPTA’s articulated clown buses are funnier and sillier than the ones on their standard-length clown buses 🤡🤡🤡)

These clown artics are the funniest buses in the entire Valley Metro fleet and the funniest buses in Arizona because they’re always in silly mode. It’s like my favorite bus (a 2016 New Flyer XD60 with ISL9 and Allison B500R), but in silly mode, a different fuel type which is CNG, and it has Cummins Westport ISL-G with funny Voith transmission.
