Hello there friend,you have this gaps because you placed the brackets wrong. They go in between the lip and the bumper do some research online and you will see what i mean! Also this canards that you got are generic crap ones and not for the evo x if you wana go with canards go with the rexpeed ones for our car! Keep up the good work
Ahh! I just thought it was supposed to be installed the way I did it hahha, it looked weird when I tried doing it the way its supposed to because it makes the bottom portion of the lip protrude. That does make sense though because that would get rid of the extra space. Thank you for that info! Yea I bought the canards thinking they would fit the car because it said evo x fitment on the site but... can't trust ebay haha 😁👍
I don't think it will fit, the Lancer has a little bit more of a round bumper compared to the evo. I tried searching on ebay for you but most of the ones for the Lancer are two piece, hopefully there's one out there for you 👍

Just to let you know if/when you install the quick release you have to make a pretty LARGE holes in your bumper so just be prepared hahah 😅👍
@@JeffSongCars do they at least give you an outline of where to drill the holes? Haha. Also, how is the fitment afterwards. I’ve seen other quick releases having a massive gap and not looking as clean as yours
Nope they don't give any outlines of where to drill I just used one of those layered drill bits and made it fit to size hahaha. If you look at it closely there is a gap on mine too, I think I may have drilled it a bit low, when you do it make sure to triple check everything haha 😄
Nice front lip splitter, don't worry about the longevity cuz stuff happens on the road regardless of brand.
