someone was in touch with me once, to ask me to upload this clip, he was part of this act. i can't remember which guy he is (i can't find the messages we sent to each other), but he was a part of the audience and before the show, Dominique met some of the audience members and planned the act
it is also interesting that he told the guy with the clip/thing on his tie to put it into his pocket. what about the guy who walks off in the middle of the act. but he walks away just as Dominique's female assistant says something to him... strange. but at the end the end during the tie/sock stealing bit the audience warms up to him.
A bit more complex than that. It was during the Great Depression (I think) that the Nazis got into power and they won the election not promising holocausts on ethnic minorities or world war - the people were desperate for someone who acted like a leader to offer hope and a change for a ruined country (Germany & Austria (and all Europe, right?) was down the shitter). Prior winning the election they promised a better economy & infrastructure, etc, AFAIK they didn't promise a holocaust & war!
no doubt this was so uncomfortably staged, as noone would actually allow anyone like that guy to get that close to them. let alone touch them that way... a true pickpocket would never drawthat much attention to self... also its a weird atmosphere..
Then why would you completely twist around the meaning of "who cares of there are no black people..." --- in the audience!? Is race so much on your mind?
i strongly believe a big part of this was staged to LOOk like the audience wasnt very good, but for example you can see the kid prepare to stand up as hes counting up to three, and other little things give it away
You are a worm. Black people in the audience? You are a racist in denial. If you walk past a black person I bet you become very awkward and focus on the fact that there is a black person in your presence. You focus on race rather than people, and if you have a black friend by any chance, you probably think of him as "my black friend" rather than "my friend".

Maybe the language barrier was a big thing. I'm quite familiar with German culture and the culture is very different. So my sympathy goes out for him.

Ties can be removed in some situations, but to do so many at once is almost certainly done with the men cooperating.
