When I watched the hearing live, I knew the three presidents had something in common, but couldn't put my finger on it... but I'm sure it had something to do with their being hired to such positions.

No, I'm talking about real court cases, in an American courtroom. Trump LOST his r8pe case against E Jean Carroll, and was forced to pay a 5 million dollar settlement. Trump is currently facing another sexual assault charge though.
This is a strong case, where defunding these institutions is called for. They do get billions a year of our tax dollars, and a full call for defunding is warranted. Defunding them by the government, and donors will hurt them beyond repair. That should put the "Board Of Directors" on notice.

If I had high school age kids I would have them go into nursing. My oldest daughter went to a prestigious hospital in Bham Al at $95.00 an hour. After a couple of years she applied for a job at the VA HOSPITAL. Among all the great benefits her starting salary is over $106,000 a year. Took a year to get nursing degree. College is overrated.

Rights are not removed from RESPONSIBILITY! You may have the RIGHT to say it but also have to take the responsibility for the consequences of that speech. Also, the 1st applies to the government, not necessarily to private entities. You want to tell your boss off, even if its true and they fire you for it, you can't go back and claim they violated your 1st amendment rights. You did have the right to say it, but you also must deal with the responsibility for what you said. Most Americans these day only want the rights part. One of the things that made the greatest generation great is that they not only understood the other side of that coin, but were willing, ready and able to take of those responsibilities to defend those rights. Not just in the actual fighting, but in all the sacrifices that people did at home too. BTW, yes, they also had segregation and bad things, but nobody is perfect, it calls for a "MORE perfect union", that's a goal to strive for, as this country always has, but it's getting worse now not the dream MLK had.
