Thank you for this wonderful video. Mam, can you please make a youtube video subjecting briefly explaining the difference between "Genetics" and "Inheritance" with some examples! Especially the example of Down Syndrome and Fragile X syndrome regarding the most common causes of intellectual disability 🙏
I have a very quick question also. Does the defect in which the DNA repair mechanism cause ataxia-telangiectasia? Because First Aid says it is non-homologous and Robbins says it is a Homologous repair defect. Which option is more correct for the Step 1 exam and the NBME exam? I will be very grateful if you could manage time to make a small video addressing those confusions? Thank you.

Some diseases have multiple pathways possible. And hence the confusion. Since robbins is a standard textbook accepted as reference in all exam we would go for homologous repair defect as single best answer.
Il certainly include the genetics part that you have mentioned in the future lectures.
