That's pretty amazing XD but the tiny doors bothered me the whole video, would be better with welded and shaved doors, not like you can use those tiny things anyway
At the time I asked my Instagram followers to choose doors or no doors, this was the outcome. I’d have done it in half the time if it didn’t need working doors and windows.
@@EnglishLaw what meds? are you like many others who know me more than my doctors do? why is that? most of the dumbass people know more about me than I do or my doctors which I see every 3 years. wow amazing. doc what is my cd4 levels today? are my white blood cell count bck to normal after the cancer as I have not see you in 2 years.
There will be one on my Facebook page in the build album. Basically cut the body so the rear glass goes up and meets the end of the A pillar, then just made a smaller front glass.
Because words mean things, and to "chop" a vehicle means to lower the roof height either by cutting pieces out of the A and B pillars, or laying the windshield back, and modifying the sail panel. Most self-respecting "Volksrods" can be seen sporting a significant "chop". Although "sectioning" generally refers to cutting a horizontal piece out of the doors and body of a car, I suppose you could refer to your project as a "vertical section" or just plain old "shortened". Don't be disheartened, there's still plenty of time to chop, channel and section it.
Who the F*%# are you to decide what is a chop and what is not? I guess you think a 'Chop Shop just lowers roofs instead of disassembles cars. Since you are so knowledgeable, show us your car, putz.
That’s epic, great display of fab skills
The shorty cut for the Beetle fits it really well...it just looked too long for the factory. But now it has Fiat 500 vibes 👌
Nice build. I would love to see a chopped roof on a new beetle. Just like the oldskool beetle
Never really liked the new beetle until now!!! Awesome job!!!
What an awesome job, absolutely brilliant.....
Mega build. Love it

Cool idea now really looks like bug .
damm it. and here i thought i was going to build the coolest one. 4 door touring sedan. may have to change my mind.
That makes the beetle look soo much cleaner.
Sweet!
It actually looks cool
Thank you! Yes I think it looks a bit more factory than other shorty’s and not weird.
Should have extended the doors into the quarter window and shortened them.
The doors were left tiny for more of a joke on how short they were. 👍
Thanks for sharing.
Saw this yesterday at the NEC classic cars how, looks awesome, well executed job and looks better than factory original IMO, do you have a website ?
Why didnt ya widen the doors?
Now that's cool
Danm its awesome ..
Cheers buddy 👍👍
well done!!
Cheers buddy
now what i am or may bw was going to do was to cut and hack and install a baha style exhaust in the back yet.
Have pics of how you finished the windows ? Just curious how you close it up ?

I think it would of been better if the door would be the front of door same but back of door be at the front of the back wheel trim.
Yes would be good but all the roof electrics and rear window lifter is in that quarter in front of the rear wheel. I’ll have to do another one day.
I want it 😁
Nyme for music 2
A_to_the_0.mp3 in the TH-cam music library.
Yes more friend I want to know her name
BeeDub!
The doors dont match should have made them normal length
Roof mech is inside the rear quarters
No driving footage?? Fail!
I did that vid years ago just using photos, going to do a proper walk around and drive on a proper vid soon.
That is not a "chop".
How come?

Google chop in half, it’s an English expression.
