Easier with 2 but still be done solo Shoulder pet method for basilisk, tamed 100s of basilisk at highest effectiveness. Brain dead easy. Use trash drake/wyvern eggs. Magmasaur, just use a bred giga to clear the area and have a buddy pick all the eggs with a drake or two. Get a mate boosted if worried. Drakes, just get a buddy and use decent mate boosted Megas. Climb pick/zip line to the egg and run to the megas. Ez. Once you have a single drake. Don't even need to use megas unless you are getting multiple. Reapers just need to be baited to a trap, you can also easily drag them outside the rad zone depending on location. Use a mega to get grabbed off easily. afterwards go to green zone and shotgun all the Spinos you see, easier with a drake to move quickly.
Maybe , but they're still fun , if you have only this one Weak wyvern , go play with it , grab a better egg then feed it to the random troodon and let your better egg Hatch.
100% agree that the reaper is the hardest to get. Not exaggerating, getting a decent level reaper was the most difficult and frustrating thing I've ever done in Ark - it took me probably around 6 hours (even using cheats to try to speed things up bc I was frustrated). The Reaper Queen has insane health regeneration and will only grab you when she's under 2K health, which is an incredibly small window to not kill her when you need a high damage Dino to even get her to low health. She won't grab you if you're using a light pet which is what you would usually use to do more damage to them. You can use a light pet then get rid of it when she's low health, but her health regeneration will quickly put her above the 2K limit while you're doing that. On top of all of that, you have constant nameless and seekers swarming you, which makes you want to use a light pet for the nameless but that'll just buff the seekers and prevent the queen's grab. And, once you've finally overcome all of that, you have to survive getting taken down to 1hp by the queen's grab and try to gtfo before your hazmat suit gets broken and it aborts the reaper. I finally got knocked up by the queen around 2-3hrs in just to have my suit break and have to start all over. I tried to trap the queen like some guides show, but I had a really hard time getting a decent level one to follow me to the trap and opted for the "rock drake method" some recommend. They are one of the coolest creatures in any game no doubt, and they make you suffer big time to get one.

Best tame for rock drake trench imo is the Karkinos. Get a high level one and instead of raising it's weight, go health and melee and they are surprisingly powerful, just don't get cornered in a nest, because a rock drake can glitch under you and you'll be permafalling unable to hit back while it slowly kills you. They can heal extra from rotten meat and they can jump you out of a bind.
My freind and i tamed a octopus like the one in the vid it took 4 hours 16 deaths but 100000000% worth it bc it had 166 thousand health and swam very very fast and did so much damage around 10k
For the microbe swarms....go to very bottom of ocean and attack a Ammonite for few mins of Rage buff and you’ll aggro all swarms in your area...plus usually sharks or Eels... random X mosa sometimes too lol
You can not use Wyvern eggs to tame a Basilisk. Only Rock Drake and Magmasaur eggs. You also don't lose taming effectiveness on the Phoenix if it's not tamed by the end of the Superheat event.

wait to tame a troodon until you're trying to breed super rexs and feed them the babies you don't need they get the same effectiveness as an adult and the babies don't fight back. might also work with stalkers but haven't tried it yet.

Bloodstalkers are ez to tame. Sit in your base an farm blood and find a decent one on foot. Grapple near it and once its grabbed you. Just wait, I recommend bringing bug repellent for insect swarms. When tames it automatically mounts you
@@bloodknyte Im pretty sure I wrote that message back when bloodstalkers didnt have taming effectiveness, and if they did you still have a low level that is disposable and easy to use to tame other high level bloodstalkers with good taming effectiveness I havent played genesis for a while but the whole time I tamed bloodstalkers without taming effectiveness since it wasnt implemented so I never noticed it.
The rock drakes are hard to get because since theres no flyers you have to go all the way down to the nest on foot which is hella hard and takes 1hr+ to do as it is then you have to fight off hordes of rock drakes grab the egg then take another hour to get back up to your base then you have to have at least 20 ac units to hatch it and you need to cnostantly feed it nameless venom its not easy
So reaper queens are supposed to run away once they give you the king but a couple times it tail wipped me after and once one got kill by a dung beetle and I didnt notice, it was a max level reaper to
Actually I'd say the Pheonix is the hardest. You can set up a trap for a reaper queen outside the radiation area, and you have some control about going and finding titans and trying to destroy the nodules. However The Pheonix is extremely hard to find even during the extreme heat event, which you have no control over. You have to wait for the event, and then find a pheonix extremely quickly, like in a minute, to have enough time to tame it with a fire wyvern or flamethrower. It's just so slow that by the time you find it, you're unlikely to have enough time before the event ends to tame it, cause as you showed a level 10 is slow af.
If You got a strong magmasuar You can use it to gather more eggs than what the blood stalker does due to the abbility to be immune to the volcanic eruption event and if You are riding it You too will be immune
@@asgore4719 yes u can trust me I tried it but there’s effects to it as while riding on a magmasuar it’s better to have a high lvl one before doing this as You can easily die if You get swarmed by tanky creatures like rock elementals and magmasuars
Just sayin'. Reapers are not that bad. My tribe got three recently without any issues at all, with a really simple method. NO TRAP. It tends to bug out and not grab you properly. Find the queen, clear the area. Light pet on, attack the queen till it's nearly dead. If you have a mod spyglass, under 1000hp is recommended. Light pet off, dismount for two seconds near it, remount. It'll grab you right off the mount fairly quickly, after doing the 'sniff, sniff' animation. The queen will then burrow and despawn. Take some med brews and go home. You CAN die as well, once impregnated, without losing it. Radiation damage kills it instantly though.
If I find a 150 reaper I'm not letting that thing burrow anywhere. It's going in a trap. Who cares if it takes 20 minutes to grab me? The entire tribe can each get 5 babies from her.
I'm gonna have to disagree witht he Troodon, it's extremely easy to tame done properly. You take a baby Giga/Wyvern over lvl 78, then throw it out into the pit you're using to hold the troodon, then you use a pheromone dart and the thing will aggro onto the baby killing it eventually, or you can stand above the baby so that it'll attack it more often.
Managarmr? That’s the hardest one I’ve ever tamed and I’ve tamed all of them except the titan. The reason is because the mana don’t follow u or they aggro towards mammoth packs and die I’ve spent days trying to tame one

Rare flower -> Practically only Mana goes after you (find a high ledge) -> Mana attacks so freeze him with Owl -> Trap him with stone dino gates -> Tranq (he even looses food when he jumps which makes it even easier) -> Profit. Literally one of the easiest tames in the game... Do your research before taming anything...
I just started playing ARK and all i've encountered are those turtles, those tiny shits that spit at you, obviously the triceratops, BUT WHAT THE FUCK IS ALL OF THIS BRO?! Fam, i saw that giant sloth looking thing that throws rocks and lost my mind, I saw a broncho and almost made a shrine to it, but holy SHIT! THIS GAME IS NUTS! Can't wait to discover more.

Idk if this counts cs u cant tame them but the reaper cs u basically got to suck the glow and still attack it then wait for it to pick u up and in preginat you then kill it to get the green stuff I forgot its name then make a tiny area then wait about 12 or 3 hours in there and then wait for it to go on 10 seconds eat the glades I remembered the name now lol and then u got a reaper
That reaper part was not quite accurate cause as long as you don't take radiation damage the baby lives even if you die, but other than that the video was great 👍
How magmasaur was on here I don’t know , it’s legit one of the easiest tames out there , not that you even tame , you just swoop in , grab egg , swoop out . Get a pick axe, and hit sulphur , boom , you have a magmasaur
The basilisk is bot hard to tame, I made a single player server so i could test how to tame a basilisk with normal taming rates bc the server cluster I play on has insanely high passive tame rates and it just took me about 15 rock drake eggs to tame a max lvl one on crystal isles. Also I was on a griffin while taming it and it was agro on the and I just had to clear the area of titanoboas and then lead the basilisk into the egg, while it was agroed and thats how I tamed the max lvl.
Mo Eniodunmo no it ain’t, why would you go through the effort to tame a titanosaur just to get a troodon, by the time you have the recourses to tame a titanosaur what’s a troodon gonna do.
Giga harder than a reaper, tuso, wyvern, karkonis, rock elemental or rock drake? Nah. Giga is old simple trap, tranq and feed method. Made even easier with shocking darts and biotoxin.
Gotta be real and say he kinda over exaggerated the difficulty of taking a Bloodstalker. The blood packs ARE annoying 🙄 but simply finding and getting one tamed isn’t so hard, in my experience. All you really need is grappling hooks and parachutes and you’re set. Just take off the armor as it’s grappling you and you’re good. Not sure what to say about the bug swarms though. Haven’t had that happen to me.
im on the island and everyone is asking to trade my magmasaur my friend gave me and i keep saying no since its so good for wood thatch metal stone obsidian etc.

Just sayin'. Reapers are not that bad. My tribe got three recently without any issues at all, with a really simple method. NO TRAP. It tends to bug out and not grab you properly. Find the queen, clear the area. Light pet on, attack the queen till it's nearly dead. If you have a mod spyglass, under 1000hp is recommended. Light pet off, dismount for two seconds near it, remount. It'll grab you right off the mount fairly quickly, after doing the 'sniff, sniff' animation. The queen will then burrow and despawn. Take some med brews and go home. You CAN die as well, once impregnated, without losing it. Radiation damage kills it instantly though.
If I find a 150 reaper I'm not letting that thing burrow anywhere. It's going in a trap.
Who cares if it takes 20 minutes to grab me? The entire tribe can each get 5 babies from her.
I'm gonna have to disagree witht he Troodon, it's extremely easy to tame done properly. You take a baby Giga/Wyvern over lvl 78, then throw it out into the pit you're using to hold the troodon, then you use a pheromone dart and the thing will aggro onto the baby killing it eventually, or you can stand above the baby so that it'll attack it more often.
But then you will have to get two gigas or sacrifice a wyvren
Managarmr? That’s the hardest one I’ve ever tamed and I’ve tamed all of them except the titan. The reason is because the mana don’t follow u or they aggro towards mammoth packs and die I’ve spent days trying to tame one

U got to be trolling right? U ever heard of a rare flower? Lol two dino gates and 1 rare flower to aggro the mana is all u need
As Leonardo said. Rare flower -> Practically only Mana goes after you (find a high ledge) -> Mana attacks so freeze him with Owl -> Trap him with stone dino gates -> Tranq (he even looses food when he jumps which makes it even easier) -> Profit. Literally one of the easiest tames in the game... Do your research before taming anything...

Idk if this counts cs u cant tame them but the reaper cs u basically got to suck the glow and still attack it then wait for it to pick u up and in preginat you then kill it to get the green stuff I forgot its name then make a tiny area then wait about 12 or 3 hours in there and then wait for it to go on 10 seconds eat the glades I remembered the name now lol and then u got a reaper

the basilisk will not eat wyvern eggs. tried it and then checked dododex. so do not try to tame them with wyvern eggs
That reaper part was not quite accurate cause as long as you don't take radiation damage the baby lives even if you die, but other than that the video was great 👍

How magmasaur was on here I don’t know , it’s legit one of the easiest tames out there , not that you even tame , you just swoop in , grab egg , swoop out . Get a pick axe, and hit sulphur , boom , you have a magmasaur
The basilisk is bot hard to tame, I made a single player server so i could test how to tame a basilisk with normal taming rates bc the server cluster I play on has insanely high passive tame rates and it just took me about 15 rock drake eggs to tame a max lvl one on crystal isles. Also I was on a griffin while taming it and it was agro on the and I just had to clear the area of titanoboas and then lead the basilisk into the egg, while it was agroed and thats how I tamed the max lvl.

Giga is old simple trap, tranq and feed method. Made even easier with shocking darts and biotoxin.

Gotta be real and say he kinda over exaggerated the difficulty of taking a Bloodstalker.
The blood packs ARE annoying 🙄 but simply finding and getting one tamed isn’t so hard, in my experience. All you really need is grappling hooks and parachutes and you’re set. Just take off the armor as it’s grappling you and you’re good.
Not sure what to say about the bug swarms though. Haven’t had that happen to me.
we use a tp trap and use rockdrake to get it down and can get whole tribe get babys if we want solong you dont live the trap it will despawn then
