Congress Wins In Meghalaya, Saleng A Sangma Emerges Victorious From Tura | Election Results | N18ER

In the Northeastern part of the country, the counting of votes for the 25 Lok Sabha seats across eight states is well underway. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) looks to maintain their grip in Assam, which has 14 seats up for grabs. The conflict-ridden Manipur, and Tripura, Meghalaya and Arunachal, have two parliamentary seats each. Meanwhile, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura will see a contest play out for their lone Lok Sabha seats.
