Amen! Sick to death of jr, as, dt. I can’t comprehend the loyalty to people who are not good people. Albeit I am a classic female, elder but the only way to get through these days is to laugh.
Probably my favorite podcast moment ever in history podcasts this was awesome.I loved watching yall open the pack of cards that I started on in 1990 when I was 10
I’ve watched every one of these, and when the guest is even just a little familiar with sports it is the best. Hearing Dan get to geek out when the guest buys in to the segment.
This was like a show I remember besides "buy it now! 75% off! Barry sanders rookie! You can ,potentially, get ten of em!... you can use the new payment plan..."
Gotta share my non chalant AP story now: I used to sell gun and jewelry safes on Westheimer in houston. We'd get the occasional former rocket or texan come through looking for a safe. Mostly old players before my time (my boss was friends with Calvin Murphy) or kinda C tier current players. One summer AP walked in looking to buy a gun safe. Nobody recognized him but me so i scurried over and made my sales pitch with some non football related small talk. He picked out what he wanted and when i took him over to the register to pay for it and i said "Mr. Peterson, i dont want a picture but i do want to shake your hand. Business comes first but i am a huge fan of the work that you do" He smiled ear to ear and thanked me. Gave me the firmest hand shake ive ever felt in my life without crushing my hand. Dude might as well have been carved out of marble. Shout out AP, one of the nicest guys you could meet.
Can we get 1 more season of 6th and Jump (Depps final season) That was the most fun of the pandemic watching along that ridiculous show with you guys 🙏
Frank Reich had the largest comeback in NCAA and NFL for awhile. He was the backup for Jim Kelly who was hurt, and it was against Moon..The Bills where the ones who made the comeback
Shout out to Sturgill Simpson - the man who got me into Country Music. Lucky enough to see him live in Toronto front row in a crowd of 100 people. Insane experience.
Ari Snaffir is a talent or comedian that has made a career out of snappy one liners and adroit asides, very much in the. vein of John Rivers or Oscar Wilde, or French Impressionist Viola Zimdummerfrance. Dan Soder has Fetal Alcohol Dome and people cheer him for being Brave and Funny. All of this, and more, on Battle of the Network Stars. Fan-Tastic.
As a man who hails from Chicago.. I'm tracking you guys down, and getting those cards that I feel need to be brought to their proper home. I know where you tour damnit
This is high art. My buddy got me a pack of 90s NFL cards last year and we just opened them and reminisced. And one of the cards was an AIDS awareness card with Howie Long.
Now I get Ari's choice of sports franchises. I had no idea he was originally from the Piedmont Triad. Shocked he didn't become a NASCAR fan. Just imagine a drunk Ari wearing some chromatic shades and a sleeveless tee, with a fat wad of Levi Garrett in his jaw, hollering "PUT EM IN THE WALL, LABONTE!!"
Dean Biasucci played with my dad at Western Carolina. Guys a legend and had an acting career as well. My pops always spoke of him as a charismatic Hollywood ladies man. Watch your mouth
I'm from Massachusetts and have to agree with Ari.. all of New England, New York, Jersey.. Florida, Ohio, Texas, California.. the whole country actually.
I live in deep western Massachusetts. I second Ari’s decision to get rid of us. Place is like a yeti cooler full of hot packs from the local high school dealer
the dean baiasucci to the very next car lenord flying, the number on the guy he was taclking to , it looks like a before front back cards, check it out , its a fun feel one number 4 kicks the next is a no.4 kicking into a no.70 linebacker
leonard marshall in the crusty pile is unforgivable. 13 sacks in 1986 championship season, 1990 postseason 3 sacks and played great. 3rd most sacks in giants history behind LT and strahan.
There's a recent video of a guy in NY just eatin' pizza on the street and he's standing next to Kyler Murray and has 0 clue who he is. On the opposite side, you have Shaq who goes and tries to go incognito in China, like, my man, you are a ten foot tall black guy... you won't make it two steps out the door. Just being black over there has everyone starring and asking to touch you and take pictures with you.

That would be awesome. Seeing them roast old, fat jobbers.

Leonard Marshall had a HUGE hit on Montana. Makes all the historical hit highlights 🎉
One of if not the best one so far. But Ari just seems to make it feel better. The longer format was nice.
These segments are always good, but they're so much better when the guest actually knows something about sports. 🏈
Love these bonus card opening episodes
These 2 could talk about igloos for hours and I'd listen, great pod guys
Leonard Marshall is the guy who buried Joe Montana in the NFC championship game from behind. I thought Dan would’ve got that
This was like a show I remember besides "buy it now! 75% off! Barry sanders rookie! You can ,potentially, get ten of em!... you can use the new payment plan..."

Roger Craig and his wife and kids used to come eat at the bar I bartended at in San Jose all the time. The most genuinely nice dude, his family too!
Haven’t watched yet but already know this will be the best episode

Getting weekend chores done in a great mood thanks to Soder 🥳
Always comes out when I am out of podcasts ! Thanks Dan! Ans whatever his name is
Not to be a contrarian, but I liked the low scoring Rams v Patriots super bowl way more than the ridiculously high scoring Eagles one the year before.
Marshall, Leonard, & McNeil in the “crusty pile” is a fail
Welcome to the Maniax Dome young blood! Where anything can happen dependent on our hosts fine fine demeanor! 🎉🎉🎉
Shout out to Sturgill Simpson - the man who got me into Country Music. Lucky enough to see him live in Toronto front row in a crowd of 100 people. Insane experience.

Saturday morning baby!
I watch Soder then I set up a WWE fight with my action figures while smoking camels.
Pimp took away the boomshakalaka.
Some better than others but these are GREAT. Nice little bump to the views per episode too. So glad Dan does a solo pod
Dan opened this up sounding like an NPR reporter
Bills fan getting irrationally mad at Ari for having that comeback backwards

LEONARD MARSHALL IN THE CRUSTY PILE IS BLASPHEMY. Dude ruined Montana’s career and Sodey pop just totally blanked it.
@22:29 Is Dean Biasucci wearing a Nike shoe on one foot and an Adidas on the kicking foot?
Soder is in my Top 3 of ALL TIME.
Knowing Dan likes Sturgill Simpson makes me love him even more.

Soder you need to stand up for yourself and tell Ari that Moon blew the biggest lead of the time
I'm from Massachusetts and have to agree with Ari.. all of New England, New York, Jersey.. Florida, Ohio, Texas, California.. the whole country actually.

Dan forgetting Leonard Marshall absolutely murdering montana
Good call on the Christoper Cross oilers jersey performance Dan
“Future NFL coach Jim Harbaugh”. Damn, how long has Soder banked this episode lol

Sex and the city definitely upped the freak of America
Leonard Marshall should be MVP blocking that punt fake

Still waiting on that Rod Tidwell rookie card.
Ari is a Dallas fan because of the star
