thanks for telling the story explaining your motivation for traveling to the Philippines. It makes so much sense that it is not just an adventure, but a path to healing. Just from your videos, I have completely changed my notions about the Philippines. What a beautiful and diverse country, and such nice people. Don't you love those Jeep buses?! And they are painted up so nice. Way way cool. And I so happy that FF is going to join you for a while. You guys are so great together. What a team.
You're very generous to offer your story. That took courage. And in doing so, you encouraged. You've infused wisdom in many viewers with new pause to contemplate the way it all unfolds. No one can know the cards we all are dealt. No one has a crystal ball. From afar, never to be known, though rooting for you in all you do, I got your back. Life is a strange beautiful suffering. Wishing your journey safe and filled with that which is at end of every rainbow.
Not me in tears with this vlog. I am so happy that you decided to take this journey. What a wonderful way to reconnect with yourself, your family, and your heritage. Family dynamics can be challenging, but facing them head on helps with healing and moving forward in a positive way! I'm so proud of you! 😭 The pine forest there is beautiful, and what an amazing tour. Thanks for taking us all along. And I'm glad I watched until the end... The Return of Foresty Forest. Can't wait to see what y'all get into!!!! Love You 💙
Wow Loui, I felt so teary-eyed 😢 for you.. admirable the journey the pull that’s guiding you…discovery all facets of who you are.. am so sorry to hear about your Dad.. I really do hope this does bring some healing to you my dearest Loui.. it’s not easy wanting something from someone who is not capable of giving it. I’m sure it’s not because they don’t want to. Just getting to be a fly on the wall for the past couple of years, the beauty of who you are, it would make any mother cry with love& pride . I’m sure your Filipino family are very touched of the importance of their culture in your life. I like so many of us pray for your safety, be present, be real conservative with your trust during the rest of your travels… may God be with you 🙏🏼. Hopefully, all your visuals on the video will help your family see the beauty of the Philippines through your eyes. ♥️ Sending you a big hug 🥰
Thanks for taking us along on your Philippines adventure! That 16 hour bus ride was no joke 😅, Sagada looks really cool though once ya get there. 26:07 ☮️
I'm sorry to hear about your dad. One thing I know about addiction is, it's something we take part of in order to fill in the aching void that torments us when it's empty. Usually that void needs to be filled with love and acceptance, but it's very tough to find that sometimes for both women and men. I hope things get better for you all,
The fist 10 minutes of the video gave me anxiety all the noise, hustle and bustle i felt the panic in my chest. I can't imagine living in the hustle and bustle- all consumerism. It is gross in my honest opinion. I am in Canada and i stay away from the malls because it is the same thing. When i was younger that may have been an attraction but at my age now, forget it. I hope you found what you were looking for in the Philippines and I am glad you got to connect with your roots. It is life changing in an intimate and personal way. Safe travels as you make your way around Asia.
I'm so glad you got to see the beautiful side if the Philippines . I hope you can understand where you family has a complete different experience.. We all have our stories, some filled with trauma, that doesn't fade, others seen the beauty.. Heal your heart, love yourself unconditionally, and once you can do that, you'll be able to forgive your father, and then you have no more connection to the past trauma.. God bless you Much respect and love 🙏
I’m so happy that you were able to experience your homeland and the videos were beautiful and so are you inside and out it’ll be nice to hug your mama and your baby when you get home I’m sure❤
Great adventure. I have been to the Mall of Asia, you are so right, it is huge and overwhelming! Looking forward to the next part of your travels. ….and a hint as to why FF has been MIA 🤔☮️.
Hey Louie .. enjoyed the travel adventure. I have two friends from the Philippines .. they met here .. but they are from different islands .. and can't talk to each other in their native language .. so they communicate in Spanish! lol amazing huh! Saw a video with you and Foresty in Vietnam .. another cool adventure! Keep after it!! 🙂
I am going to miss the Philippines vlogs but I will bet you will be glad to go back to Alaska and see your mom and puppy. Healing is the best way to cope with trauma and stop making it generational. I understand completely your process.
Oh yeah I’ll be happy to go home when it’s time. Make sure to stick around, it’s not Spring yet in Alaska! I’m going to be doing more traveling until March
I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of these videos. I am also very glad you got to share some time with such a great friend to tour with you over there. I am glad ForestForest got to see that wonderful place also.
When you were telling of the area, I was reminded of your previous ventures when you and your mother were going around the southern states. I enjoyed your telling the stories of the locale and your voice is so soothing/pleasant. Thanks for the video and your sharing your personal and family experiences.
So happy to see you met up with Simon in Vietnam. The 2 most beautiful countries are the Philippines and Vietnam. The language barrier gets extreme in Vietnam as most phillipinos speak English which makes it number 1. Lol. Stay safe loui
Great video Loui! Not sure what the temps were in the Philippines but it's in the 90's here in Thailand. The mornings and after sunset are great temps especially on the beach ⛱️
Yeah, pretty fancy!! You could lost for days in that place. Thanks for showing the phillipenes to us. safe travels. just saw the video of you and Simon. Looks like you guys had a good time in Vietnam. Have really enjoyed all your videos abroad….
Thank you for sharing the journey to discover part of your culture with us. I use to love ice skating and my husband and I both still have our bows from our archery 🏹 days. 😁 Your guild was very knowledgeable and explained the hanging caskets very well. I saw a documentary about it years ago. The countryside looks similar to Okinawa's countryside. You definitely will come back feeling more complete. 🩵💙🩵💙🩵💙
What a beautiful area you got to travel to and visit. I loved seeing the city malls but I thought there were too many people and hahaha, it was a relief when you got out into the beautiful country. Thank you for sharing❣❣❣
@@AdventureTimeLoui When we endure strife we self-inject dopamine. Strife and otherwise interpersonal conflict is highly addictive. My mother has been throwing literal tantrums for 80 years and can't seem to quit. The solution? Co-dependancy (ie give her a reason to flip out and get the fix over with.)
That's awesome, beautiful hearing journey and learning about your heritage. It's important to research your heritage. Thanks for taking us with. Mud slides seems to be a regular thing in that area. How come they don't terrace that area? Not for rice but to prevent landslides? Hanging coffins seems bizarre for this Canadian. Just for certain people? What's the origins? You'll probably return to Alaska before your package to your mom arrives 🤭 snail mail.
I was getting whiplash going from Philippines heat to Canadian snow. Will this soon end? Hot, cold or somewhere inbetween? Looking forward to the next chapter.
The Philippines is a country l never really thought about..the only thing l hear is its a troubled country..thankyou for showing us this beautiful country...do lots of people annoy you...
I wonder if you visit the house your father was born in? Or the area your father was raised in? You show a good overall country of Philippines. God Bless and Be Safe ❤
the disparity between rich and poor is striking. you got the mega malls with all the high end foreign stores and the modern high rises and then you got all the normal people living in shacks in the country side

Love that song!
16:20 HI WILLIAM! I miss seeing him. I’m glad your Mom is taking good care of him. Sweet baby.
Wow! You were a model! Cool Louie. Loved the Simon surprise btw!

The Mall of Asia is overwhelming, indeed! Glad you Found a peaceful oasis in Makati...
You accomplished a lot on this trip, be proud of your achievements.

Thank you for sharing your experience in the Philippines. I truly hope you can return and visit even more places. Take care and safe travels.
Hey Mom and William❤
Can't wait until William and Rocko get to play again 🙂
Well done Loui , We need to listen to the echoes of our past , it can only enhance us .

That mall reminds me of the Mall of America. I spent many MANY hours wandering around there... but had some loop earplugs in to cut the noise some.
Absolutely beautiful and awesome countryside. It’s in North America or anywhere else all the traffic weights, one way and the other way gets to go.
I’m so happy that you were able to experience your homeland and the videos were beautiful and so are you inside and out it’ll be nice to hug your mama and your baby when you get home I’m sure❤

It reminds me of how good we have it in the US. Thanks! Say hi to Simon.
The Philippines is a much better place to live. The people there are incredibly polite and much happier than the average American citizen.

Wonderful experience. Thank you for sharing. I especially enjoyed learning about the hanging coffins.
WOW😲and I thought the Mall of America was badass, show you how small my world is 😂
Agree! Had to giggle a bit when I saw the MOA sign! From MN, with MOA😊 Not the biggest mall 😂 Thanks for sharing your adventure, it’s beautiful
I loved everything about this video. ❤
...and Foresty Forest spoiled the surprise for the next location 😂
loving the series. Looking forward to seeing foresty forest
Wow! I really enjoyed this one! Love what you choose to share! Thanks❤❤

That was Awesome 👏👏✨👍👍🖖 definitely more of there for you yes 👍
Loved the video. I follow BecomingFilipino but your videos are unique to you. You're doing so well. Great shots of special places.
Love your travels so far!
@Jean.A.squirrel…was not click bait title. She indeed experienced these things!
It's so amazing you doing this for your family and yourself. Lived the mountain stuff. Manila too big! 😊
I am happy to be here
Thanks for sharing your journey :)
Very cool stuff. Thank you for sharing.
The War with Drugs: How the finance industry subdues and enslaves the population. I love your work Loui!
Thanks! There are many types of addictions out there
@ The “British” empire (same terrorists controlling now) subdued China using opium.

Awesome video so your going to Vietnam next with your fiancee foresty Forest/Simon. Enjoy
I wonder if William misses traveling with you or maybe he is happy staying warm and cozy with your Mom😊
Love it all.
Mall of America in Minnesota largest mall in North America. 5.6 million sq feet.
Cebu is much simpler to travel through than Manila. I stopped going through Manila in 2017....when I discovered I could :-)
...except when one needs to be in Luzon
I was getting whiplash going from Philippines heat to Canadian snow. Will this soon end? Hot, cold or somewhere inbetween? Looking forward to the next chapter.
The Philippines is a country l never really thought about..the only thing l hear is its a troubled country..thankyou for showing us this beautiful country...do lots of people annoy you...
You should see the malls in Saudi Arabia!
I wonder if you visit the house your father was born in? Or the area your father was raised in? You show a good overall country of Philippines. God Bless and Be Safe ❤
Good choice of friends to invite. Surprise, surprise.
You 🫵are Awesome 💫⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

lol, you sneak!!! just saw the foresty video 🙂
Thirteen MILLION?! No Manila for me...
Yeah that is an INSANE number!! 😱
@AdventureTimeLoui I really enjoyed the rest of your trip, and the mall was not nearly as busy as say Manhattan
William would have hated the mall.
Ahaha he probably would’ve laid down in a corner and went to sleep
❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️
❤❤
Spoiler alert! Is Simon in Southeast Asia!? No freaking way!!!
✌🏿✊🏿
Maybe come back to the phillipines in the future with your bro?
Yes as soon as I can talk him into taking some time off I want to come back with him and my mom!
@ love that !
🤩💕🍀
Guess you could look into American/Philippine citizenship. Seeing that your dad was a citizen...

This has absolutely nothing to do with christianity i heard her say something about Christian.

Dark af title, but it made me click, *shrug*.
I did notice most people in the mall were wearring their bags crossbody.that toldme purse snatching .ght be commin at that location .

I hate when your videos come to an end 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Thank you for watching all the way through 🥰
I’m pretty sure the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN is same size or larger.
It's not 😅
@ oh cool it looked the same size from the tv
Hey loui? After you finish traveling the world and stuff, will you marry me?
I highly don't recommend this channel she's arrogant on other people's money.
Sorry it seems you’re having a bad day. I hope it gets better 💗
Introspective AF. Envious.
