I love the symmetry and the oppressive look. This would still work great in fantasy as it stands out so much from thd natural looking builds, very evil villian
There will be a triumphant return of the rotten plank, no worries! I will be switching back and forth between genres going forward. We are still playing Curse of Strahd so I will need more fantasy terrain. We haven't decided which sci fi system to use yet. Maybe Starfinder but I am open to suggestions!
Thanks for watching! I still plan on continuing the fantasy builds too, so it will be busy around here! The tiles for the sci fi series are gonna be a combination of 4 and 8 inch based scatter. It's gonna be fun!
Honestly what comes next on this series is going to be a surprise to me as well! I'm nervous but excited to learn some new techniques. Thanks for watching!
Cyber mice have a way of finding the cracks in anything. I can hear them chewing on cables now! Don't worry, there will still be plenty of fantasy builds coming too.
Great build, very generic look that will fit in on most boards. Curious as to why the top platform is done in four sections off the central block, and not one large flat piece placed on top of the central block?
No rotten planks in sight!
Lol! Rotten Plank shall return. I need to make a tiny scatter piece of rotten pallets for this new world!

Thank you! I was listening to LOTR soundtrack during the build to keep the focus on a multi-genre style.
@@ravenstead I can see a pixelated holographic eye floating above it right there. Or perhaps even a flickering neon one.
Wow that's some inspiring imagery! Thanks for the idea!
I like how ambiguous the tower looks design wise. I could definitely see it used in both futuristic and fantasy settings.
Nicely done!
Something to be said for Dwarven Sci-Fi!
Thank you! I really wanted to ease into a new style and genre. Not as slap dash as usual.
Lol! I didn't notice until you said something! Is there a game system out for that?
Looks very imposing! Love it! Miss the rotten plank but I’m excited to see the rest of the city come together😁

This is a great start to the new series. Time to saddle up for another exciting ride.

Awesome, great departure from your previous builds. You do a great job with your washes. you inspire me to do better.
I don't know what I'm doing yet but your kind words are very encouraging! I want to try oil washes but I'm scared! Thanks for watching!
Great build, brother. I really like how you captured the cold and imposing look. - Rick, USMC
Thanks Rick! This was a very fun and exacting build. It was weird not using any flocking.
Totally different from the last series 😊
Love the style!! Can’t wait to see what you do and create 😊😊😊

Thanks for sharing this with us.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it!
Very nice, very simple once again awesome build
Thank you! I really had to resist the urge to put pipes, wires, and other greeble all over.
Nice! It'll be great to see your take on scifi terrain.
I am excited about it! I'm painting up some new minis and playing Cyberpunk 2077! Thanks for watching!
Really good start on this. Can def use this in Traveller (or Star Wars or Cyberpunk). Really interested in seeing what else you've got coming.
Thanks! I'm trying to get some of my D&D players interested in Sarfinder!
Great build! But where are them critters gonna hide? 😉

Looks good 👍
Thank you for watching!
Nice! I wonder what the Brutalist/sci-fi equivalent of a rotten plank would be?
How about UV damaged plastic? I was thinking rotten pallets.
Awesome build! Really lovely minimalist design
Would you mind if I recreated this foor tabletop simulator, with a link to this video?
Thanks and yes you can! I appreciate the interest.

Because I failed to plan. I got so excited about jumping into this build I didn't even think of it. That definitely would have been easier!
cool, usually when people do things like this they start with a toy of some kind you aren't bashing anything.
This one was scratch built but I think future builds in this new world will have some kitbashed elements, at least greeble. Thanks for watching!
Maybe a rusted plank?😂
The Rusted Beam or Girder? I feel it!
