By the way,,, if all goes well, I think I'll be able to announce a small sinking minnow around spring this year.

what kind of wire is that, did it come in pre-cut lengths? I am not sure where to find this kind of wire? And what kind of pliers are those called with the circular jaws?
I am using wire is stainless steel wire with hardness.This wire is sold for handmade lure at Fishing shops. The length of the wire being sold varies depending on the product, but it is cut in lengths of about 50 cm to 1m. And this circular pliers is called a "Round Nose Pliers". This pliers are also sold at fishing tackle stores, wire craft shops and craft stores.

I think the wire diameter 0.8mm is the best.

リップ金属でもできますか？
動きと浮力は変わってしまいますが、金属で作っても大丈夫ですよ。
自分の場合は厚み0.6ｍｍのアルミ板でリップを作ったことがあるのですが、ルアーの動きは暴れるようなワイルドな泳ぎになりになりました。そして、リップの重さによって浮力が下がるので、シンキングタイプのミノーとなりました。
すみません、ウェイトを入れる際にくぼみを作るために使われていた工具の名前を教えて頂きたいです。
皮ポンチ（皮パンチ）と言う工具を使っています。皮ポンチは革製品等へ穴を空けるために売られている工具なので、ネットショップやホームセンターを探していただくと、「皮ポンチ、穴あけパンチ、皮抜きポンチ」と言った名前で売られていると思います（・▽・ｄ）

バルサ材は木材の中でも柔らかい種類なので、節がないものはナイフや小型のノコギリでも加工ができます（・▽・ｄ）。
もしルアー用にバルサ材シートを購入される場合は、節がなく、軽量で柔らかいシートを選んでいただくと作りやすいかと思います。

バルサもろくないですか？
海用のルアーやビッグベイトなど、強い強度が必要なルアーに使うのは難しいですが、柔らかなバルサ材でもニトロセルロース塗料やエポキシ剤でコーティングすれば強度が出るので、もろくて壊れてしまう心配は少ないですよ（・▽・ｄ）
