I was so excited to see a 3 hour episode! So enjoyable to listen to you both. I relate so much to the renovation stories! Thank you, thank you for sharing your lives. I'm inspired every time I listen in 😊😊
Hi Eddie and Sally! Sally, it has been such an honor and joy to have gotten to know you briefly on a run back in the day and getting to help crew for you at WS. I have enjoyed every moment of following your incredible journey. This podcast had me in tears so many times…we moved 6 months after you guys did to the Spokane area…similarly. It has transformed our lives and our children’s’ lives in ways that I could not have imagined. I listen to you both regularly, and am ALWAYS inspired and challenged to choose strong in all that I do. Thank you for your encouragement, vulnerability, and for walking through life with us all. You are both SUCH a gift. I can hardly wait to follow your epic adventure of States next weekend! Can hardly contain my joy for you. Bless you both in the beautiful work that you do of reaching into peoples’ lives, meeting them where they are, walking alongside them, and loving them for who they are, no matter what. Thank you, thank you. So much love for you both, Heather Morris
Long story, but my hubby and I know from experience that if you survive laying down laminate wood flooring together without strangling one another, then your marriage can survive ANYTHING!😁 I also totally understand when you talk about God preparing you step by step for things to come with the short move to Bend and back---thanks for sharing! This episode kept me company for two indoor sessions this week as we've been in the 90s here in central NY, crazy hot for us northerners, lol! What would have been miserable time in the train cave this time of year was blessed with Sally&Eddie! God bless the McRaes, Megan 🙏👊💪 Western states is approaching quickly...LET"S GO YELLOWRUNNER (& Eddie & all the support crew)!!💛💛💛💛
Hubs and I have celebrated 31 years of marriage doing it the only way we know how -- seat of the pants lol. I travel the world talking about sustainability and climate change through the lens of infrastructure. Found myself with 9 days between speaking in the Netherlands and Switzerland. Looked at a map and headed to Chamonix to run the trails. Accessed a lot of your wisdom along the many miles scrambling up the vert. I startled an elk once by yelling Let’s GO somewhere near Les Houches lol. Thank you for all the company on the long runs. I started running ultras on a dare. in my mid 50s I won a lottery for an entry into Badwater CapeFear and simply stumbled through it knowing nothing about running 20 miles in the sand with the tide coming in...the rest they say is history!
Hey Eddie and Sally! I live in Bend and have been here my whole life! It was such a pleasant surprise, after finding you and falling in love with you as a person and the inspiration that seems to just flow out of you effortlessly, to find out you lived in my city! Not only that, but you are Christians so that connection seems even better. I keep finding little connections, like your Sisters Coffee hat in one of your videos, you talking about where Makenzie went to high school in Bend(I went to the same high school! class of ‘16), and finding out that Mount Hope is just a mile away from where I live in the house that me and my fiancé bought in 2020, the same year you bought your home in Bend!! Just craziness. Anyway, I don’t know where to connect with you since I don’t have instagram, I’m not sure you read your TH-cam comments or not but if you read this just know you’ve completely changed my life (a cliche I don’t take lightly) and I am so thankful for you, your podcast, TH-cam videos and every way you inspire others. I hope one day our paths can cross and I can meet you and thank you in person. 💛 Also side note: It’s Mount Faith, Mount Hope and Mount Charity, the names of the three sister mountains!
Wow! I love every single podcast you both make, but this one has literally blown my mind and I feel so inspired. Been feeling stuck for a long time now and this has encouraged me to have more faith in myself and that good things can happen if we just take some leaps of faith. Thank you both for being such incredible humans. You both rock, Melissa 💛💛💛
Nice story with some sad parts. Did you ask the owner why he picked you since your offer was not the best? You mentioned you saw him working on garage door. Consider Austin for next adventure. It is much cheaper and Isiah would easily meet friends. In Georgetown next to Round Rock we have 28 mile technical trail around the lake. Texas has second highest number of ultra runners after Cali. We welcome you and Eddie. Nick lived in Georgetown before but not sure now after move back from Tenn. He could give you advice.

Absolutely one of my favourite. Ladies Run Night , 2 of of pull up, both listening 🎶 👌
So personal, thank you.
Hope, faith and blessings xx

I already listened to the pod on my runs but had to rewatch the episode on TH-cam! You two are my absolute fave 💛💛

I'm wondering if there's a second part about your current home and how you got it?
