This is the first ever Deng Li Jun (邓丽君) song that I very much love listening to the moment I first heard it decades ago. "小城故事" literally means "Story of a Small Town or City". Perhaps, the combination of her soft and lovely voice + good melody and excellent musical arrangements just gives me a kind of feelings of relax and peace of mind, with full of nostalgia. I bought the cassette tape of this song and gave it to my father for his transistor radio and he loved it instantly he played it with his transistor radio. He is now up there in heaven and I wish that he is still enjoying listening to this song everyday. RIP, dad! Thanks for uploading this fantastic music video, junctionv!
