It's funny that you'd not fly the Harris's on pheasant, as we've seen some good video of fit Harris's really going after pheasants! That Bolt seems to be showing how impressive a fit Harris's can be...fast and persistent, combined with calm personality, hard to beat!
If you don't come to kill tahe rabbit, how do the hawks actually put it down, if they "bother"....I've seen that some hawks actually suffocate prey, by gripping it about the lungs with their feetm and just bearing down on it, so's it can't get a proper breath....falcons, a different story! Amazing how they bang onto a bird, with so much power, then snip through the spine! Not always so neat and clean, but I've seen a Goshawk take a bird and just rip at it, never mind...
Plenty of good slips, that's awesome!😎👍
Thanks 👍

Well, grams, or ounces, those birds pack so much power per pound!
In this video did you use a gps on goshawk
Yes, Telemetry.
How often does the goshawk need to go out hunting? I here some people say everyday and others 3-4 times a week.
As much as possible i would say. They require attention daily however to keep their weight right and so on.
Thanks. Enjoying watching your videos. I really like the Gos.
Thanks 👍
Gosh, it would be a lot easier to compare weights in grams, instead of that pounds, ounces and decimal ounces ;-)
