I.e during lizzies stay at netherfield when Caroline and her take a turn round the room teasing Mr. Darcy you can see the interest flicker in his eyes and then his eyes shift when he dismisses the thoughts
Sometimes I wish I was in the 1800’s to experience something like this. Love like this is so genuine and it just makes me sad. I just finished the book and I wanted to cry. Love has faded throughout the years, I hope everyone will find true love.

This movie I’ve always loved, no matter how many times I see it. I love Jane Austin books, and the movies are great. Keira Knightly and Matthew Macfayden , did an amazing job of portraying these characters. Their acting skills are phenomenal. Great Job!

I love how Mr. Darcy stood in front of Lizzie and Charlotte when they were laughing while Lizze had run away from Collins’ dance.. like he did want to ask her to dance (you can see he followed her but unfortunately Collins asked her to dance first) and had waited her then took all courage to ask a next dance with her... It got me chillllllsss and I love them both so much in this version
No matter how many times I watch this movie, read the book, or hear this song - it never gets old. There must be at least 15 MV of Elizabeth & Mr. Darcy set to this song but I definitely feel this one is the best of them all.

But Mr Darcy has skipped the dancing completely and somehow ended up at this weirdly erotically charged touch of hands, and then he’s been unable to contain himself, needing to flex his fingers as though he can’t quite shake the feeling of Lizzie on his skin.

In a world of impeccable manners and careful acknowledgement of tradition and what is correct, the hand flex is an unguarded action of pure feeling, and it shows us that Mr Darcy is perhaps not the emotionless automaton that Lizzie thinks he is. In this time period, organised dancing was really the only time that unmarried men and women got to touch one another, and again, it was always careful and choreographed. But Mr Darcy has skipped the dancing completely and somehow ended up at this weirdly erotically charged touch of hands, and then he’s been unable to contain himself, needing to flex his fingers as though he can’t quite shake the feeling of Lizzie on his skin.
