thanks for your video, Mavey... i just found something to learn to kick off 2022, now learning bit by bit and looking forward for more helpful vids on your channel man.. appreciate it much! cheers
I was actually thinking of buying the Midi producer pack, I'm just not entirely sure what it includes in depth. The only real reason I wanted it was to be able to filter the usable notes to what key I was in.
@Vcode V They've made an official video showcasing the advanced MIDI features here. I may get it to just filter notes in key and the knife tool, locking modulation to notes and humanizing velocity is helpful as well as faster note strumming edits. th-cam.com/video/G0eDZZLHeXM/w-d-xo.html
I'm not sure why it would do that, you could try asking Ableton support, I'm more accustomed to Waveform. All I can imagine is tinkering with the plugin order and settings, or ableton's settings to see if something is off.
Yo sir please I need your help I've gat some midi files I downloaded and I want to bring them in and edit them now I take them from my browser on the left to the middle which is where the track is now the midi files pops up but I can't edit it like draw new notes please tell me how to go about it I've been stuck I will appreciate a quick reply Thanks
@@yungblackalwaysrichnfamous1457 I tried to import a random midi file, so i went to bitmidi and downloaded one, opened the folder and dragged it into waveform, I was prompted to import and to either have it as one track or multiple. I was able to edit it just fine, it was a VLC file. What kind of file is it?
A wav I think but that won't be a problem anymore when I tap them now they show although I'm still having slight issues with it but I think with more I'd get used to it . But the issue now is that I've gat some drum kits and I try importing them but when I bring them in they appear in wav format and I can't edit them and I want them to be in midi so that I can edit them how do I make them to come out in midi format to make them sound the way I like
@@yungblackalwaysrichnfamous1457 So far I've found no native way to do that in tracktion, some other DAW's allow it. But i did find some posts detailing how the Melodyne plugin can do it, here www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=497880
