My daughter graduated from Colorado State and is working at a warehouse making $39 an hour that requires no degree. The business jobs she found requiring a degree don't pay as much.
Yeah, but the thing with Charlie Kirk is that he hast to be doing all this publicity over and over again it’s a lot of work for him and he can’t do that forever
LEARN TRADE SKILLS!!!! Experience beats a college degree everytime! I dropped out of college, went straight into the workforce with little to experience and was in logistics for 25 years and made up to $20/hour! I roofed houses with my dad as a mid-teen which taught me trade skills and how to develop a work ethic.
in this day and age college is an antiquated specialty resource for knowledge but, with free flow of information online you can learn whatever/whenever for less than a paycheck per year. i'd much rather go that route than generate generational debt.
I went to USC and a really successful female alum came in to give a business speech and simply said when asked that she would never send her kids to college but instead give them the funds to start their own business. Think of it this way, you can learn most languages 5 times more effectively when you’re in the country learning it vs having to take the class here in America and still barely know shit.
Finally someone gets my point across I see school is like a cup of coffee either helps you wake up your brain or it doesn’t have no effect at all question how many people have hire graduates and those people have not even Been to college 😂
It’s a scam SOMETIMES. Know what u wanna do, and plan accordingly. As an electrician, my college degree means nothing, I’m still fortunate to be in the top 10% of earners because of hard work, not cause a piece of paper taught me how to work or think
Exactly, college doesn't teach plumbing either, or fire suppression.. Also quit hanging your stuff off my sprinkler lines!! Get your own unistrut sparky! 😂😅
I have a significant amount of post secondary training, education and knowledge and I didn’t pay a dime for any of it, in fact, outside of personal experiences, I got paid to obtain all of it.
If you go to college you should only study what career you are chasing and commit to it! That’s the best chance and making the most out of college. My sister got a psyd in psychology and is now a dog groomer
I see your point, but what I think he’s saying is big 4 year institutions telling undergrads they need to go through all these hoops just to get the piece of paper. Then to only step into a job pool that’s in surplus rendering the piece of paper you just spent $100k to get virtually useless because you won’t be able to get the job you want. Then there’s the economy on top of it imagine living paycheck to paycheck and paying a student loan bill on top of all your other expenses.
Ah yes, the masters in education. The useless degree that produces more useless degrees. Can't tell you how many times a masters in education can't teach the class they are teaching.
I didn't even finish high school and I'm making more money at 27 than my friends who finished college. All of whom are doing nothing with their degree, and working the same bum jobs I did when I starting out. You can save 4+ years of life and money by instead just cutting out the college part and going to work. "You need college to learn how to be professional and move around a workplace". You know where else you learn that? At your job lol. The place that pays you to be there rather than you paying them.
I've never gone to college and I believe it's a scam as well and almost everyone I know including myself have made successful living for ourselves. I'm sure almost everyone in this comment section has done the same or dropped out to pursue better careers than college!
Well when daddy is paying for it ride it out! Right? Why go to work when your life is already being set on track! THIS IS WHY WE ARE FAILING OUR KIDS! They never had to stand on their own and go to work to provide for them selves.
I grew up next door to an intelligent young lady she went to school got a degree as a nuclear engineer and couldn't find she went back to school to get a second degree 200k later she had a job making 60ish a yr
Everyone I know wanted to go to college but no money. Now you can get grants and Special funds and to find out it’s all for not (well democrats indoctrination) is very disappointing
I think college shows that you have the ability to learn and understand the material, but having even a part time job that shows you can show up on time and work reliably is way more valuable.
You missed the point. Are those the only degrees? No. Arguments can be made for several STEM or Medical fields. But the quantity of useless Gen Eds piled on are many used to justify the existence of poor performing departments. Core classes and that which is needed to properly thrive in those core classes is fine. But there are many garbage degrees.
a lot of colleges now make insane money off you popping into a video where the teacher just goes through some powerpoint and you're given projects at the end. You only do the work because you pay so much money so that you can get a credential. Its fuckin insane
Charlie are right about many things but not this. A lot of people for sure dont work with the education they got, thats correct but to say they have no need för education are completley wrong

@@Santos01870he won’t need to.
offers for graduates are what they except not what they are capable of
$39 an hour wtf are they selling there drugs ? 😮
Meanwhile the welders and AC techs are laughing their ass off😂😂😂
College taught me nothing about being in the workforce.
get certs and or go to a trade school.
LEARN TRADE SKILLS!!!! Experience beats a college degree everytime! I dropped out of college, went straight into the workforce with little to experience and was in logistics for 25 years and made up to $20/hour!

I graduated in Canada "Informations System technology" in 2014. Here I am Owner of a Doggy Daycare in Ottawa lol
college always sounded like High School classes, only now you pay for it and it costs way too much
in this day and age college is an antiquated specialty resource for knowledge but, with free flow of information online you can learn whatever/whenever for less than a paycheck per year. i'd much rather go that route than generate generational debt.
Yep Clarke is so right on target
Experience outweighs a piece of paper.
The cost of college in US are insane, in Sweden it's "free"

He looked like he was going to speak smart😂

all true
I have a significant amount of post secondary training, education and knowledge and I didn’t pay a dime for any of it, in fact, outside of personal experiences, I got paid to obtain all of it.
He speaks the truth
If you go to college you should only study what career you are chasing and commit to it! That’s the best chance and making the most out of college. My sister got a psyd in psychology and is now a dog groomer
You learn more one year out of college than four years in college.
You want to learn how to work and build up a career?
Get a normal job and be your own person, take care of yourself.
What a cop out answer
True.
He's right.
since when does college teach anyone how to work?
There are plenty of degrees that are necessary for career paths. I can understand labeling the less practical departments as scams

The only people who benefit financially from college are Nurses, Doctors, (medical field) lawyers. Most of ALL the other degrees are worthless!
Charlie is right. I never finished my AA degree and make more money than my sister in law who has a Masters in Education.
Ah yes, the masters in education. The useless degree that produces more useless degrees. Can't tell you how many times a masters in education can't teach the class they are teaching.
Everyone has A different point of view.
Not Everyone is right or wrong .
Maybe this guy is.
I didn't even finish high school and I'm making more money at 27 than my friends who finished college.

I didn't finish high school and I make as much as a white collar worker because trades can't be done by a ai

You can buy an education, yoi cant buy intellect and common sense
Trade schools are far better bang for your buck
Very nieve. Parental failure.
So, Registered Nurse?
ADN?
BSN?
DO?
DR?
RT?
Not all colleges, but, most are. Traditional 4 year colleges are. You get a piece of paper, yet, have no common sense.
You missed the point. Are those the only degrees? No. Arguments can be made for several STEM or Medical fields. But the quantity of useless Gen Eds piled on are many used to justify the existence of poor performing departments. Learning how to work? I did that by actually working, my guy.
College teaches the basics of a job then you go into the real world and learn how to do the job
You don't need a college degree?? Mexico and Venezuela are listening for sure! 😁 😁 Kirk is always wrong...
I have a 1 year certificate making 6-figure income 😊
What do you do ?
Scammed? I don’t want to hire doctors, lawyers and teachers who does not have a degree😂😂😂 so it’s not a scammed in general
a lot of colleges now make insane money off you popping into a video where the teacher just goes through some powerpoint and you're given projects at the end. You only do the work because you pay so much money so that you can get a credential. Its fuckin insane
Does that include Trump University??
Charlie are right about many things but not this.
