Donald got out of prison and left his kids in foster care (where they were physically, sexually, and emotionally abused) without even checking in with them. Now he's a doting dad to another teenager but barely calls Jude and Callie. Jude's anger is quite understandable.
@@moneylover318 His kid was literally being raped in foster care, and he didn’t check on her at all. False hope was the least of her problems - she needed someone who loved her who could stand up for her, even if he didn’t have custody.
I'm sensing lots of anger and lots of tension with Jude and his father in all this.

@@lexi219From what I remember he had to earn custody for his kids. Probably didn't wanna give them false Hope if he couldn't earn it back.
