I love Miss America but it has to be said some of these contestants look a lot older than 26! New Hampshire onwards particularly. Miss Pennsylvania would look great as a senator's wife but she looks way too old for this!

Jennifer Wall, Miss Washington was the first ever state delegate who was deaf to compete at the national level. Ms Wall played the piano during the talent competition!! Ms Whitestone was the second deaf delegate and did ballet. However, at Miss USA 1985 Miss Tennessee USA Martha Browning was the first ever deaf delegate to participate at the national level of a major USA pageant but did not make to Top 10!
