I imagine at this rate in 2-3 months or so not only the bugs are all gonna be fixed but we'll probably start seeing 4k improved graphics and anti aliasing mods/patches and the game is gonna look better than it ever did on ps4
Well fromsoftserve, guy behind the reremaster of dark souls 1, already started working on texture upscaling, a new anti aliasing and some other tweaks here and there
The upscaled textures, improved AA, ALL dynamic lighting and 60fps already make this look/feel better than it did on PS4, and all those mods have been out for a few weeks. It truly is insane. (Also you can easily fix the SFX, mine works perfectly, but ONLY under very specific settings. If I use a different resolution patch or change the divider length, it breaks the SFX)
It's already completely playable if you don't mind the graphics being a bit broken sometimes and a crash here and there. I played for 3 consecutive hours last night before it crashed.

With the FPS Boost mod from nexusmods I get a stable experience and can usually play for about an hour or so without a crash. The requirements aren't high. Maybe a little higher than my setup if you want full effects and higher res, but I'm finding the experience playable enough.
I've been into emulation since the late 90s with things like ZSNES, and there have been only a handful of times when emulation progress was this incredibly exciting. We're witnessing a truly significant moment in gaming history. To those working on this, you guys deserve all the praise. This is seriously ridiculous work you guys are doing, it's impossible for me to even fathom what goes into this kind of reverse engineering. I'm forever grateful for the talented minds out there using their own time and energy to better the world for all of us. Thank you, and I can't wait to see how far you guys can take this.

My daily routine is legit going on youtube and check the latest updates on bb pc, it's so interesting. Mannnn I hope they can integrate online player messages into the emulator, I love the msgs
I think we're at the point where we're nearing 90% playability. Still needs a few more key fixes as the visuals aren't quite there, and the optimization isn't perfect yet, but I believe it will be at a perfectly playable state by October. Give it until December and it will be in an even better state than the original game ever was. If it ever gets to a point where patches are no longer necessary other than to unlock the FPS, then that's when the time will come for every one of us to join the hunt as well lol.
As soon as the SFX lighting is fixed I'm giving this another playthrough. That FPS makes it look soooo good! Can't wait for some AA mods, or who knows what else....

This is a personal thought, I've been waiting for this game on PC since 2015, a friend had a PS4 and I had my first Souls experience (I was also 15 and the bosses practically made me cry) with this game. Since then I've always waited for it, for almost 10 years I protected myself as best I could from all spoilers and resisted the temptation to buy a PS4 numerous times. The game deserved to be enjoyed in 60 fps... Sony let me down. Thanks anonymous friend, my little teenage self thanks you from the bottom of my heart. As soon as I can, I'm going to donate you the 60 dollars I would have given to that bitch Sony.

I wouldn't say the lighting is there yet but it definitely has definition now! The way the lighting and framerate was before I would rather not play at all, but if y'all decided to quit this project tomorrow, it's in an acceptable state and that is a huge accomplishment, well done!!!
What build/fork of shadPS4 is this? Because these results are not consistent with my builds from the official version's main branch or Diegolix29's fork.
Sony could have been printing money if they had released bloodborne on pc . I mean support developers and buy games obviously, but my god. Game is almost a decade old and the most demanded game for PC and they still couldn't deliver.
when this is done this game is going to look SO beautiful, I thought bloodborne is overrated but it seems like PS4 really did crush a lot of the game's beauty.
I played Bloodborne for the first time something like a year ago and was so disappointed, didn't really like it. And I feel like part of this was caused by the framerate and the graphics. And after playing DS2 for the second time 2 years later (also hated it the first time) it became by far my favorite ahead of DS1 and 3, now I'm just waiting for at least a 60 fps patch, even though a remake would be so much better. At this rate I'll give it a second try on PC rather than PS5... After seeing how much my opinion on DS2 has changed after a second playthrough I can't wait to see Bloodborne after playing it in better conditions.

Tbh what's on Sony's head for not releasing Bloodborne for PC?? ALSO i watched old video that actually explaining that Bloodborne on PC is actually exist, its SS can be found in a game wiki and its title filename is like Bloodborne_x64bit.png or something like that. Wtf Sony
i am having issues with bloodborne i think i am doing something wrong it keeps crashing or running slow. and i cant access all the patches and cheats and when i try to use the cusa00900 version i get nothing but a black screen and the character doesnt even appear while creating
sony just gatekeeping it for ps6 because its the only title anyone cares about that they own that isnt on or coming to pc eventually. the only reason to buy a console they are just gona release it with ps6 so people actually buy it because it has no other titles.
Fire itself doesn't render correctly, some environment effects too (rain, fire sparks, wind ashes etc...). Lights aren't 100% fixed, I'd say it's rendering around 2-3x intensity of the original one, but it's getting there... Aside from that, game is fairly playable right now, with the experience around 65% of the PS4 version.
I have kind of an unrelated question. Do these improvements get translated to the emulation of other games? I'm not really excited to emulate Bloodborne itslef, but I've been waiting for years to play The Last of Us 2 and I wonder if that game will also be playable

It seems it's not completely fixed yet but it's heading into the right direction~ I still wish the GPU optimization to occur soon because my 4080 is running at over 230Wattage with 1080p resolution. Even Black Myth Wukong required far less than that at 3K resolution.

More like intense lighting bursts fixed, now it is more "consistent" and from the source, which is a great step in progress of fixing it ♥
