I'm so sorry to hear that. I had an abusive aunt and cousin, they hate me even though I love them. It hurt me when they talked bad about me behind my back, and my aunt let my cousin hurt me, even spilling her drink on my head. It's bad... me and my mum cut contact with them, and they are basically strangers to me. It's hard for me to smile even if I faked it.
