Awesome finds, love the countryside and the birds singing. Thank you for sharing your treasures. Good luck with moving house. My favourites are the two emerald coloured ones, the others are just as stunning too. Stay safe and well 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰🇦🇺
It must be fun to find old things in the bottle dump. It makes me think of all the things that have been thrown away by accident. I like the nice bottles you find.!
It is a lot of work but I love it! I bet there is all sorts thrown away by accident, I have seen people find gold in the dumps before so you never know 😁👍
26:15 OMG, Ed!! I JUST finished moving. It was Hell, mostly because I had very little help. I hope you are more fortunate than me. Now that I'm watching this video in my new home, I can definitely say it was worth it. I kept my eye on the prize during the most stressful, exhausting times, because getting a fresh start at my age is PRICELESS!! Good luck.
Hey Noralee, we seem to be moving every couple of years but hopefully we will stay there for a while, my bro is super helpful and accepts pizza as payment😂 Glad your move went well and now you can relax and watch You tube videos 🙂 👍
So there's Granny's sauce and Daddy's sauce.. interesting! 😊 Lovely finds tho, especially that little green jar, the green poison and the ice-blue granny.. so glad you kept it!
wow, what a great dig, I love the little ink, that wavey glass in tge sun. Also i use the little paste jars to make fairy house lights. So im even excited when i dig them.
@@VintageParagonUk More so over there haha. when you hve beers coming out of the wall willy nilly, I might find 1 every 0 hunts and even then double ups, I have to find the smll wins hahahaha
I'm pretty sure I walked passed the Haywards pickle factory in SE London! It was a fine victoran building in Bermondsey, not far from the Thames! Now luxury flats.
Nice little batch of great old bottles and jars, shame the labels can't be preserved somehow, maybe clear lacquer sprayed over them. Looking forward to the next brilliant episode Ed
That was a good haul Ed, well done. I think a lot of the prolific factories in London located in the South East for access to the Thames for good supplies of water and export routes. The manufacturing process also seems to be better for the volume producers who would have had the latest technology 😁👍
I love paste jars so does Jane aka My Ordinary Treasure 😁 Great dig Ed well done,I need to treat myself to a Wye preserve they so stunning! We don’t dig them up North, well I’ve never seen one 🥺☺️
Maybe I need to find some different paste jars to stoke my interest as the ones I find are all the same from here 😂 I might have a spare Wye valley preserves somewhere you can have it if you like? they are really cool as far as jars go 😂👍
@@VintageParagonUk They are beautiful not like the ones I find normally aqua or clear. I’ve found a few paste jars most make them into candles 🕯 most unusual one is my fray bentos one,not one I’ve seen many of. Awww thank you Ed I’ll buy one too gotta be in 2’s #symmetry 🙈😁
Hi Ed, Just found your excellent channel & subbed, I follow several other bottle digging channels too, done a few digs myself, some years ago, wouldn't mind having another go at it, although not too many sites convenient to my area now, a couple I used in the distant past have either been built over or become completely inaccessible. Nice finds on this dig, the 3 preserve jars look great cleaned up, amazing that the labels on the camp coffee bottles have lasted so long, must be the type of soil or ash they are buried in, although I have seen some diggers unearth the remains of old newspapers from the 1920s that are still readable. Richard in Portsmouth.
Nobody likes paste jars???!!! I can’t be the only person that likes them! I recently saw one that had and Art Deco design. I love them! That beautiful matte green little jar made my mouth water.. gorgeous colour. Did you do research on the camp coffee bottle with Mason Sauce label pasted on top? Great dig. I thoroughly enjoyed it!👍🏻
Well that might have been a bit of a generalisation 😂 that paste jar sounds nice, the ones I usually find are all the same and a bit boring! The green jar is a nice one 👍 I did have a quick look for Mabon sauce but couldn't find too much, Mabon is a pagan celebration in Autumn to celebrate harvest so it might be something along those lines.🙂 Glad you enjoyed it👍
I have been told by a lot of people they like paste jars after making this video 😂 the Wye Valley used to grow lots of fruit so it would have been jams in those jars 👍
Oh!! Nice to see a pan yan pickle jar as I haven't seen one before!! 😁😁 And I like paste Jars. A mudlarker's Staple 😜😜
😂😂 paste jars everywhere!
Nice dig. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!😁👍
What a beautifull label on the camp coffee. Definitely put some modge podge on that.
I think I have some of that somewhere but it has been out in the rain now so don't think it would have survived, maybe next time.
Awesome 👍 Finds Love the colors WOW Have fun Be safe 🙏👍🙏
Thank you! You too! 😊👍

@@VintageParagonUk hahahahah, mine was suppised to say one in every 10 hunts🙄
always love the history behind finds... it's a nice glimpse into the past :)
I love that part too, almost like time travel!
I'm pretty sure I walked passed the Haywards pickle factory in SE London! It was a fine victoran building in Bermondsey, not far from the Thames! Now luxury flats.
Oh I bet, hopefully they don't still smell like pickles 😂
Sweet poison. Lots of other great finds, too!
Thanks! Gotta love a poison!
I absolutely love the UK beers, the embossing on them is super. Green poison was a beauty. Take care man!!
Thanks mate 👍
Love the green poison
It is the best 😁👍
Some lovely pieces ❤
Thank you! 🤗
Beautiful ice blue. Makes you want to keep it just for the color of blue.
I do have a few of those already and I do love the ice blue

Great idea, maybe i will give it a go next time 👍
Looks like you had a great day, some lovely finds
Yes, thank you 😁👍
I wish we had the places to dig for bottles in nsw Australia, I just love watching you videos and the history your country holds
Thank you, We are very lucky and I am enjoying sharing my searches 🙂

Thanks Chris, I did think that, most of the industry is probably around that area, thanks for that nugget of information 🙂👍
I love the 3 jars....... I can see some of my home made Jams in them....
They would look great filled with Jam!
Thank you for this great video. Cheers and stay safe.
Thanks, you too!
Ed, Lovely labels on the Camp Coffee. Always love the poisons bottles. Two beautiful beers from Bath or is it Bathe? Take care Ed stay safe.
Thanks Debra, always nice to find a poison! Bath is a roman spa town, they loved it so much they named it after the baths 😂
Just found your channel. Looks good and have subscribed. Rob from Adelaide
Thanks Rob, nice to meet you 🙂👍
love the colours of your poison bottles, all i ever find here are brown ones
We do have a lovely variety 😁👍

Hey, welcome, really glad you are enjoying my videos, it is a really great hobby and some awesome youtubers out there 😁👍

Paste jars are always worth keeping, especially the older embossed ones, like Shippams & Princes, you can sometimes use them as candle holders!
What a great dig! Love those bottles with labels. Is there no way to preserve them?
Thanks, I have had a few suggestions so maybe I will give them a go next time 👍
I like paste jars. Just wondering could you use resin over the labels before cleaning them so the label will stay?
Some people have suggested a few things like that so maybe I will give it a go next time 👍
Paste jars are always worth keeping, especially well known ones like Shippams & Princes.
I think if you clearcoated it with paint spray paint before you clean it not a whole bottle just the picture I think you'd be able to keep it on there
I'm in Canada, and noticed no one likes pastes? Why? Just too many around? 🇨🇦
They are very common on certain ages dumps so diggers usually don't bother with them but some are actually quite nice 👍
The NWest must be where the rich live. Haha
haha maybe 👍
Not true. Some like paste jars. What was in the White Valley jars?
I have been told by a lot of people they like paste jars after making this video 😂 the Wye Valley used to grow lots of fruit so it would have been jams in those jars 👍
Do you know we still have aumor meat paste and saisages and it is good for sale in the U.S.
I did not know that, that is really interesting 👍
Why do you guys always smell that stuff. Yuck.
you never know it might still be good 😂
