Thank you!! I was just trying to find a video that showed where it was! I was pretty sure but needed confirmation and I couldn’t find a video with a 2.4L Sebring! Right on!
Just curious with the high rpm was the speedometer reving too? my 04 sebring is reving to 15mph and rpm is at 1500 i replaced the speed control sensors but still having the same issue the car will just start reving on it's own? while in drive or just idle.

Went through exactly the same steps and the idle air control valve was the problem except a piece of plastic was jammed in front of the plunger.

Following I. In the same boat this all went down after I changed the air filter which was black as hell
How many miles was on that car?
I believe it had around 120 thousand
On this particular car only the rpm's were acting crazy, idle air control valve was bad.
Didnt really show anything....whats that on you hand....my code is p1294....
Video was too dark to really see anything
