You are truly a genius and have so many unique and innovative ideas about working on pianos. I’d love to make one of these as we often move pianos. We currently use the Moondog tilter. But, it is limited to certain styles of grand pianos. Your tilter seems very universal, and looks like it could work on a wide variety of instruments.

It is absolutely possible. The shovel of the jig has a maximum height of approx. 360mm. The height of the piano plan is approx. 325mm. The support block can also be set up at this height. You can expect a little more effort, but you can still do it well on your own.

Hallo! Im Video erwähne ich die bekannten kommerziellen Systeme, die Im Fachhandel erhältlich sind. Diese sind aber extrem teuer und nicht so flexibel einsetzbar. Das Transkip-System funktioniert nur mit den passenden Roll-Vorrichtungen, die an der langen Seite des Flügels festgespannt werden müssen. Ein anderes System wird anstelle der Lyra befestigt, für jedes gängige Flügelmodell gibt es dazu passende Schrauben. Dieser Umlegebock wird nicht mit dem Flügel verspannt oder verschraubt, sondern nur angesetzt. Das funktioniert bei fast jedem Flügel, Man benötigt außer dem Stützblock (nur bei längeren Flügeln) kein weiteres Zubehör, Viele Grüsse
Bravo pour votre système si simple. Je me demande s'il serait aussi efficace sur piano 1/4 de queue. Comme la distance entre le pied avant et l'arrière est plus courte, l'angle du piano l'est également et plonge d'avantage. Qu'en pensez vous ?
@@arpegepiano la distance entre le pied bascule avant et le pied arrière étant plus courte, le piano plonge beaucoup plus vers l’arrière gauche. Le bloc d’appuis est compliqué à placer vu qu’il y a déjà le chariot sur la partie droite de la ceinture. J’ai fait une simulation à l’ordinateur, c’est comme ça que je me suis alerté. Si quelqu’un l’a testé en vrai je suis curieux d’avoir ses impressions.

I will add a piece of wood on the other side, to avoid going over the vertical line, expecially with grand piano.

...gute Idee. Hatte jemand anderes aber schon. Nennt sich Transkip, soweit ich weiß und ist im Fachhandel erhältlich (Baumgärtel?).

It's a good idea, but I’m worried about heavy load to a posterior leg while you lay a concert grand piano sideways.
This is not a problem and is done by all professional piano shipping companies

Hallo, mit kleineren Flügeln funktioniert es noch leichter :)
Fonctionne comme une montre suisse avec un 4/4, ou avec un piano droit, quel serait le problème avec un 1/4 de queue
