I have watched so many videos of people giving their opinion on what JK said. Your video by far is the best, although several of them say the same thing you did, you went further in explaining why he said it and what he must of felt watching Tae go through what he was. Depression is no joke and for them with the pressure to be perfect from their own country and the criticism from toxic people ( I will not call them fans because if you were a fan, you wouldn't act like this). The boys do everything they can to make us Army happy. They work long hours and go days without having a day off and they do it with a smile because they know it makes us happy. We seen Tae change right in front of our eyes and it was so heartbreaking to watch. Imagine being his friend, partner or family. We also watched him find his happiness and watched that beautiful smile come back. Tae has the kindness heart and would give everything for Army to love him. Real Taekookers will love him and support him 100% with no string attached. I believe in my heart that Taekook is real and it is the purest true love story ever and we are privileged to witness it. I really like what you said about them here. I also noticed that Tae was on a very deep battle of his own and it was excruciating to see him looking sad all the time. But good to know that he won those fights and find himself again. Maybe it was also a journey for him, just like anyone of us when we had some hard time. It was not easy to be an idol, especially when most of the time there are cameras going around their life. I somewhat agree that some ARMY are just toxic. They just want to see what they want to see without even concerning how their bias would feel. Love your statement about people who love people of the same gender. I feel that tae losing his grandparents really took a toll on him and he fell into depression.. jk was always there for him. So when jk couldn't help him he felt helpless but now that tae is getting better.. things are getting close to what it use to be.
I also noticed tae is under depression especially he lost weight in one of BTS concert n looks like he is being shut down. Hope Army just be an ARMY not more than that . Just Support their career n personal lifestyle too. Don control n destroy BTS life . Thanks for this video. I’m battling depression as well and relating to Taehyung’s struggles, I hate when Army differentiate between the “old” and “new” Taehyung. There’s no such thing. When life throws a curveball like that, you can rarely avoid it - in Tae’s case depression - and it’s not a matter of losing yourself but fighting to find a way back to yourself. Like a pause. Then when you find yourself again, everything is as it was and should be, but not without battle scars. They go deep and while they heal over time, the marks will still be there on the skin that’s still yours and has been yours all along. You don’t shed your skin during depression, you grow. And what a wonderful, self-aware and thoughtful person Taehyung has grown into 💜
Friend or boyfriend, when you know a person inside out and then they start acting differently, isn't it going to be awkward? What do you say or do if they are quiet? Can you joke around if they are not in the mood for jokes? JK must have been really worried and thought maybe V wanted space and when you are each other's security blanket (especially introvert JK) you worry that will change things personally and in the group. Jungkook is a true friend to Tae. Sometimes our friends can’t do anything to take away our frustrations and pain, but a TRUE friend will just be there with and for you. Selfish fans thinks they are all puppets and not real persons with feelings. It’s true as a psychologist in training, people with depression will even distance themselves from their loved ones when they are feeling depressed and sometimes even when you try to reach out to them it’s not easy and they will push you away, And it really does confused poeple around them and for someone who is bubbly and cheerful like tae, the people around him will be at loss seeing his behaviour change drastically hence JK saying there’s a bit of awkwardness.. like tae i am an ENFP, and since we’re extroverts people find it weird when we go a bit quiet, but the thing is as an ENFP, we’re the most introverted extroverts which means we need a lot of time alone, we need moments to overselves to avoid being drained.. and most ENFP views the world in a multi dimensional perspectives and most are highly sensitive to the energy around them.. that’s why you see tae and his vibe checks, he’s joyful but he’s a real sensitive soul as well and people hating on him for stupid reasons is just sad and horrendous. I am as straight as can be and even a muslim but how can you hate ppl for who they love... and i see nothing but love between these two. Thank you for this video. This made me cry. As someone who is also going through depression, it's not easy, it's never easy. But you know who is slowly healing me? Their music, and these 7 boys. BTS is made of 7 members. We may have our own bias but that doesn't mean we have to hate the rest. It breaks my heart to see them suffering when they are helping a lot of us heal by sharing a part of them to us, which is a priviledge in our part. Let's be grateful for them. it saddens me that a lot of ARMY in response to that in the soop episode were like "no, taetae can't have depression" or "see taekookers, they dont even like each other as friends" or even "see, you guys made them awkward around each other" instead of just sitting back and listening to what he had to say. I've seen many taekookers even say that it was a skit or drawn up by big hit. I truly believe that it was genuine. Not that taekook weren't close or having a rift, but that watching someone you love going through a hard time that you can't help them with can put a strain on any relationship, romantic or platonic. they were both opening up to each other and to the fans and it saddens me that so many of them disregarded it to prove their own point. if I was them, it'd seem like a slap in the face

That is why I am thankful that Dynamite came along and the choreography suited Taehyung the best. When they are performing it, I can see that Tae is in his element every single time. The melody of the song itself, the choreography and the outfits scream of Taehyung and I can see him having fun "again" whenever they perform it. To me it's sort of also a healing song for Tae (as it is for the rest of us struggling through this pandemic era). And I guess, him again being quite the 'highlight' of the music video for Life Goes On was the members' (and primarily JK's) way of comforting Tae because they might've felt that among them, he was the one mostly affected by recent events. It's really touching to see them going to great lengths to make him feel he is not alone and they will do what it takes to make him feel better. It made me stan BTS even more because of that. 💜
People underestimate how long it takes to recover from a loved one's passing. He lost both his grandmother and grandfather in a relatively short time, while he couldn't be with them. From what he's said his grandmother was everything to him. When you lose someone who only shows you unconditional love it's no small thing to just shrug off. It would be natural for him to question the trade-off of being in BTS vs being with his family and leading a more normal life. It was obvious by what he said about his grandmother at the concert that he felt guilty for being in the Philippines when she passed. I don't know what else might have been a factor in his depression but this had to contribute to it.

I have and still going through depression, my mom didn't realize until 2 days ago when i just broke down in front of everyone in the living room,tbh they were shocked cause they knew me as Jovial and sweet, she literally said and I quote 'your going under depression and it show on your weight ,your getting skinny and always in your room away from everyone ,you dont even genuinely smile no more more " and etc...so as someone still battling it I know that what you stated in this vedio is 100% true certain situations or realization about your self will put you through serious depression.......beside we wore the shoes and still trying to see the end of the depressing walk. Never understood how anyone believed the "not close" and "awkward" for years narrative unless they'd never seen ANY other bts content before. There were so many things that happen during that time and it was devastating for both Tae and JK. They were getting cuts everytime they tried to talk to each other among other things. It was just to hard at the time. I just believed that all those cuts that were made by Big Hit, and or Dispatch had been taken away slowly because of reasons both Dispatch and Big Hit did not want any controversies. Korea does not like gay's, it's against all of what their country stands for. I Love the both of them and I hope that it'll be alright.

I have watched so many videos of people giving their opinion on what JK said. Your video by far is the best, although several of them say the same thing you did, you went further in explaining why he said it and what he must of felt watching Tae go through what he was. Depression is no joke and for them with the pressure to be perfect from their own country and the criticism from toxic people ( I will not call them fans because if you were a fan, you wouldn't act like this). The boys do everything they can to make us Army happy. They work long hours and go days without having a day off and they do it with a smile because they know it makes us happy. We seen Tae change right in front of our eyes and it was so heartbreaking to watch. Imagine being his friend, partner or family. We also watched him find his happiness and watched that beautiful smile come back. Tae has the kindness heart and would give everything for Army to love him. Real Taekookers will love him and support him 100% with no string attached. I believe in my heart that Taekook is real and it is the purest true love story ever and we are privileged to witness it. AND FOR ANY OF YOU THAT ARE HOMOPHOBIC YOU NEED TO CHECK YOURSELF AND MOVE ON. TAEKOOK ARE NOT HURTING ANYONE BECAUSE IF YOU DON"T LIKE IT YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE APART OF IT, MOVE ON BECAUSE THAT IS A CHOICE YOU HAVE. I really like what you said about them here. I also noticed that Tae was on a very deep battle of his own and it was excruciating to see him looking sad all the time. But good to know that he won those fights and find himself again. Maybe it was also a journey for him, just like anyone of us when we had some hard time. I feel that tae losing his grandparents really took a toll on him and he fell into depression.. jk was always there for him. So when jk couldn't help him he felt helpless but now that tae is getting better.. things are getting close to what it use to be.

I’m battling depression as well and relating to Taehyung’s struggles, I hate when Army differentiate between the “old” and “new” Taehyung. There’s no such thing. When life throws a curveball like that, you can rarely avoid it - in Tae’s case depression - and it’s not a matter of losing yourself but fighting to find a way back to yourself. Like a pause. Then when you find yourself again, everything is as it was and should be, but not without battle scars. They go deep and while they heal over time, the marks will still be there on the skin that’s still yours and has been yours all along. You don’t shed your skin during depression, you grow. And what a wonderful, self-aware and thoughtful person Taehyung has grown into 💜

Friend or boyfriend, when you know a person inside out and then they start acting differently, isn't it going to be awkward? What do you say or do if they are quiet? Selfish fans thinks they are all puppets and not real persons with feelings. It’s true as a psychologist in training, people with depression will even distance themselves from their loved ones when they are feeling depressed and sometimes even when you try to reach out to them it’s not easy and they will push you away, And it really does confused poeple around them and for someone who is bubbly and cheerful like tae, the people around him will be at loss seeing his behaviour change drastically hence JK saying there’s a bit of awkwardness.. like tae i am an ENFP, and since we’re extroverts people find it weird when we go a bit quiet, but the thing is as an ENFP, we’re the most introverted extroverts which means we need a lot of time alone, we need moments to overselves to avoid being drained.. and most ENFP views the world in a multi dimensional perspectives and most are highly sensitive to the energy around them.. that’s why you see tae and his vibe checks, he’s joyful but he’s a real sensitive soul as well and people hating on him for stupid reasons is just sad and horrendous. I am as straight as can be and even a muslim but how can you hate ppl for who they love... and i see nothing but love between these two. Thank you for this video. This made me cry. As someone who is also going through depression, it's not easy, it's never easy. But you know who is slowly healing me? Their music, and these 7 boys. BTS is made of 7 members. We may have our own bias but that doesn't mean we have to hate the rest. it saddens me that a lot of ARMY in response to that in the soop episode were like "no, taetae can't have depression" or "see taekookers, they dont even like each other as friends" or even "see, you guys made them awkward around each other" instead of just sitting back and listening to what he had to say. I've seen many taekookers even say that it was a skit or drawn up by big hit. I truly believe that it was genuine. That is why I am thankful that Dynamite came along and the choreography suited Taehyung the best. When they are performing it, I can see that Tae is in his element every single time. The melody of the song itself, the choreography and the outfits scream of Taehyung and I can see him having fun "again" whenever they perform it. To me it's sort of also a healing song for Tae (as it is for the rest of us struggling through this pandemic era). And I guess, him again being quite the 'highlight' of the music video for Life Goes On was the members' (and primarily JK's) way of comforting Tae because they might've felt that among them, he was the one mostly affected by recent events. It's really touching to see them going to great lengths to make him feel he is not alone and they will do what it takes to make him feel better. It made me stan BTS even more because of that. 💜

People underestimate how long it takes to recover from a loved one's passing. He lost both his grandmother and grandfather in a relatively short time, while he couldn't be with them. From what he's said his grandmother was everything to him. When you lose someone who only shows you unconditional love it's no small thing to just shrug off. It would be natural for him to question the trade-off of being in BTS vs being with his family and leading a more normal life. It was obvious by what he said about his grandmother at the concert that he felt guilty for being in the Philippines when she passed. I don't know what else might have been a factor in his depression but this had to contribute to it.

I have and still going through depression, my mom didn't realize until 2 days ago when i just broke down in front of everyone in the living room,tbh they were shocked cause they knew me as Jovial and sweet, she literally said and I quote 'your going under depression and it show on your weight ,your getting skinny and always in your room away from everyone ,you dont even genuinely smile no more more " and etc...so as someone still battling it I know that what you stated in this vedio is 100% true certain situations or realization about your self will put you through serious depression.......beside we wore the shoes and still trying to see the end of the depressing walk. Honestly, I'm so happy about Tae find himself again. I've been an ARMY just this year but I also observed from Bon Voyage, Run BTS, In the Soop, Summer and Winter Package, and in some live performances in award shows a sudden change in Tae's behaviour. There were so many things that happen during that time and it was devastating for both Tae and JK. They were getting cuts everytime they tried to talk to each other among other things. It was just to hard at the time. I just believed that all those cuts that were made by Big Hit, and or Dispatch had been taken away slowly because of reasons both Dispatch and Big Hit did not want any controversies. Korea does not like gay's, it's against all of what their country stands for. I Love the both of them and I hope that it'll be alright.
