I just ordered one from Dave at the Fast Strike website. Sadly, Amazon, Walmart and other stores stopped selling these because it’s considered a weapon. We’ve gotten so used to defending criminals that in many places defending yourself puts you at risk of being arrested. Bad guys are actually suing their victims. There was the guy who robbed a house and running away fell into an empty pool and “suffered” injuries so he sued the family! Or the moron who sued a married couple after he took them hostage. They “promised” not to call the police or try to escape. The couple made him dinner and put in prescription drugs to knock him out and THEN obviously called the police. So the kidnapper sued for breach of an oral contract. Such is the world we live in as our Second Amendment rights are being taken away. Even this non lethal weapon is illegal in Canada.
It is a whip allowing one to hit eye, nose, throat with fast acceleration back and forth. Do the same while cha-Cha against knife. The kubotan handle is a plus. I would use it against wild fogs.
That is not going to stop a attacker that wants your life. A attacker that with low resolve (he wants your wallet) ya it will probably work.... Unless he has a gun. You cannot use these self-defense weapons as your primary weapons system. I'm sorry you cannot rely on just inflicting pain and pain response. You must be able to render the attacker unconscious or dead in a matter of a few seconds. To rely on pain response, that's all your going to get from this weapon system is crazy. This is a good back up weapon system. Not a primary. Use a gun for your primary self.defense. if you live in New York or California or any other states that don't let you properly defend you own life. Maybe use this weapon system in tandem with the pepper spray system. Pepper spray the attacker then hit them with the fast strike. But do not just use the fast strike by itself. Someone could want your life and the fast strike probably won't stop them. Personally a set of nunchucks in your back pocket would be a better weapon system. I'm good with them. Not to mention you get hit in the head with them you are probably unconscious if not dead. So I would not bet my life on the effectiveness of this weapon system alone.
yeah, idk how easy it is to master nunchucks tho, or even carry them. the fast strike or really any non-lethal is just good to give you time to flee, or get to a lethal weapon you know how to use. specially it aimed at face, small organs, hands. def have to try to hit with the little steel tip though. worse comes to worse use handle as a blunt object. pepper spray with this would be good too, though also has its own pitfalls (less range, slower deployment can be dropped easier, have to aim more), but yeah guns.
@@carlosnn8150 you can carry chucks 8n your back pocket and most wont realize you have them. If someone asks for your wallet you give them the chucks. Dont have to master them. Just be fast

Rick James yes, it would be, if you were trained how to punch, and if you knew where to punch. This is a self-defense tool, that was originally designed for people who have no martial arts training. It is a force multiplier. It's meant to be used so that you can make your escape. Also, it increases your distance by a good foot-and-a-half, and if you're hit by this thing I guarantee you, you'll be licking your wounds, and not going to want to be hit by it again. Someone who is not trained in punching, and gets their hand broken, takes that one shot and then they're done. With the Fast Strike strike you can keep going and going.

The consequences of that choice are completely on you in that regard. The point of this video is to review a non-lethal alternative to utilizing a self-defense tool.

Yeah it will, unless hes on painkellers. Ive seen reviews on this, its pretty bad
