Mind you, I don't know what the bank holiday weather has been over in east Yorkshire but here on the Lancashire coast it has been very wet and cold today. It can only get better! Your patio looks lovely Rachel, I am sure you’ll be almost living out there this summer. We have the same patio furniture , it’s 4 yrs old this summer and looks as good as new. We love it. Piper is absolutely gorgeous , he’s loving his walks in the beautiful countryside. I love your Davenport, I went straight from your link and bought the pattern. Yours is stunning. Martin and Bronte are looking well!!!! Bronte is so cute! Love, love, love the patio. You will get so much use of it. LIke the new hairdo, the dress and the bibs. You are so tall and beautiful and look great in both. I, however, am short and squatty, lol, so can not really wear either. I enjoy seeing you and your lovely family and home.
When our youngest went off to University hubs and I made a point of doing date nights (obviously before covid) we even would do fun nights at home, card nights, movies with popcorn, trips to the beach for picnics on his weekdays off etc. It really brought us closer together since the kids were always my main focus and work was his. Now the kids have been off on their own since 2012 hubs and I enjoy our time on our own! But let's be honest, I'm impatiently waiting for grandkids now! lol If we can get this girl married after three postponements this year we will be well on our way for that to happen!

Patio is looking lovely. My daughter went to uni last year, do not worry, they will surprise you. Messy at home, room speck and span at uni, the fines help. She was never quiet but turned into her mum at uni. No one would dare to be sick in the kitchen sink again, the air was blue and the offender made to clean the whole kitchen. Don't worry he will be fine.
I've been going to Bradgate Park all my life and currently live about 2 miles from it. I've never seen it look so stunning. The deer often wander around where the public are, they don't seem scared. I think they come to see what's in the picnic bag. If you got your afternoon tea from Morrisons I guess you went to the one in Glenfield, just down the road from me. Piper is still scrumptious!

That Davenport dress is gorgeous, in fact I paused the video and went straight off to buy the pattern and some lovely linen viscose from sew me sunshine ( different to yours lol) 🙈. It’s hard when the last child leaves home. However our one has come back twice and is currently still here 🙄. He’s 31!!!
