Great news that I now know this unit has the bass split feature to play left hand bass lines. I own and older beast the pa-50. But I will be upgrading to this one 👍👍👍

That bass is amazing.
You do realise the sound in the video is clearly not coming from the speakers of the device itself? I mean, it's easy to make the thing sound far more impressive than it will once you've placed it on its own in the living room, you know.
@@MrIcelander jesus christ! The guy didn't ask for an induction of were the keyboard is amplified from. He just said the bass is amazing!

thanks for the nice demo. I'm about to buy an EK-50 from your local seller here. but I would like to know if I can load music set as professional arranger as at pa800, pa700, I know this is not an oriental keyboard, but if one can at least have quarter tones here?

I got the same model, but, mine is broken outta nowere, it just keeps blinking when you power it up, how can i fix that?

Also I don’t play left hand chords. So this doesn’t give you the option to do what he is doing. Playing left and soloing with right. They make it look so easy but it really isn’t. Need live help! May send it back.
Would've been nice (and honest!) to let us hear what this thing actually sounds like on its own, from its own speakers. So many get all hyped up by videos like this (speaking from experience here), only to then get massively disappointed to hear what these things _really_ sounds like once you got one home & paid for :/
Am slightly curious if this particular one will let you save your performances to midi, but with the arrangement included, if anyone knows?

A bit late coming to the party sorry so it might not be relevant. But I borrowed one for two weeks from my music shop. The speakers actually sounds really nice
I got curious when I read your comment coz I was planning to buy this, fearing that it might sound differently without connecting to external speakers. Finally I bought it yesterday and I am glad the sounds is superb, the bass is deep and overall its clear. The guitar so crisp and sounds good.
@@mr.fortunatos.tandog6855 Well, good for you, then, that's absolutely not been the case for me with my Roland E-A7, which with its own speakers alone just sounds like some cheap toy you give a kid for their bar mitzvah! I could just as much have simply bought something more advanced without an internal speakers altogether, like a PAx or Genos, if it's only going to sound decent through a line anyway, you know :/

And is it fast to load a midi file and can we play along with it, does it have a good Drum kit, I normally use the Jazz kit, and the brush kit is it good…
The Finger Bass and the Walking Bass are they realistic, and of course let’s not forget the old and warm Organs does it have the desirable Hammond B3… what about Electric piano are they any good, is it any thing near the Fender Rhoads…

my boyfriend just got a Korg EK-50 and he's trying to split the keyboard to play bass on the left side and piano on the right side. We just can't figure it out. There are so many sounds coming out.
Why is the audio of this video in mono when it's obvious that it's a stereo keyboard judging by those big speakers?

Can you record a song onboard and then export to iOS or Mac DAW?
I bought this not knowing I couldn’t get help by phone. Only emails. I can’t figure out how to Store the sounds once you edit them. These piano sounds are very light and not pro sounds until you edit them. I can’t change them each time I turn it on. Need phone help Korg. Very disappointed in this keyboard Korg used to make the sounds good without having to edit each of them!
Dude it's a relatively cheap keyboard. The sounds don't sound good for a reason. Even in this video they don't great. You get what u pay for there is no magical fix.
how can we change the tempo of the rhythms?

@@dhanipianist it is pathetic for korg to arrange change of the tempo by pressing and holding the shift button :) I have never seen something like that before. you have to press and hold shift button and then use the wheel to change it, how pathetic it is for user.

Achei a aparência desse teclado 🎹 feia .. Eu acho que ele não vale muito apena comprar pq tem teclado mais barato que ele que oferece muito mais que ele ... só na quantidade de voz 🗣️ que ele tem por exemplo ...tem teclado mais barato que ele que oferece muito mais até na aparência ...e essa telinha é muito feinha por um teclado 🎹 que custa uns 5 mil reais ...em fim por esse valor é mais compensável comprar um YAMAHA então tem teclado da Yamaha pelo mesmo valor tem teclado Yamaha muito mais bonito tbm por menos e oferece muito mais que ele ...acho que no mínimo esse teclado teria de ter uma tela com fotos do instrumento 🎷🎸 mais vozes muito mais coisas para oferecer ...ele não vale o valor que ele está ...sim não tem como negar que os timbres pelo menos são "bons " no mínimo essa tela amarela deixa ele inda mais feio ...no meu ponto de vista 👀 🤔💭 nem mostra a fotos dos instrumentos etc ... então compra um Yamaha PSR sx 600...900 que é o mesmo valor é mais bonito também e oferece muito mais até o Yamaha 473 oferece muito mais que esse teclado 🎹 do vídeo
