Another time where I can do some...fixing, the zoom in doesn't do the fact checking justice.
tl;dr: i posted the image that thought the guy was hacking, perfect clears, he wasn't.
Basically I did a zoom and enhance on the guy that did it, he had something like 8 people targeting. in Tetris 99, the mast number of garbage you can send is 9 based on how many people are targeting you, which is why Vin got 10 of them, and so did his attackers. L on the left, J on the right, I in the middle was the first line, and yeah, it was literally 2 seconds.

I know that's a thing you can do, but I pretty never do it just out of bad habbit.
In the heat of the moment, it is safer to just hit a 3 times rather than go through the 3 step mental gymnasium of: 1 remember the counterclockwise button. 2 move your thumb over. And 3 steer the piece during the entire process.
@@sansprobus7209i'd beg to differ. there is a hard limit on how many movement actions you can take before a hard-drop is forced on you if the piece doesn't go down any more. gaining the habit of rotating the shorter way is always helpful imo because then you also have more time to adjust the actual position of the piece.

On a side note, Hori stuff is usually amazing. Had two arcade sticks from them, one arcade mini and one real arcade pro, and they're damn good. Have other friends that play fighting games that also have Hori pads and sticks and they all can confirm that their stuff is good.

The first 6 seconds are pure gold.
Okay some pointers for Vinny:
1. PUT THE PIECE DOWN. Don't think too much on where to put it, just don't leave holes or overhangs around.
2. Only go for Tetrises if you're sure you're not gonna top out before getting it. Sometimes it's easier to use an I piece on its side to flatten a surface instead.
3. Only go for T-Spins if the setup is already on the board or if you REALLY know what you're doing (Like knowing several setups for them)
4. This is not really a tip cause there's no way to make it work on a Switch. Controllers SUCK for fast paced Tetris. Keyboard play is the best and most reliable way to play tetris, or an arcade stick if you're used to them.
Never thought i would give tetris advice to Vinny, let alone on a youtube comment, but hey, tetris is tetris, so keep on building!
Oh and also forgot to say that: USE THE DAMN HOLD FUNCTION! It is a lifesaver if you know how to use it, so learn it as soon as possible.
And don't panic, no matter what. Keeping your cool may save your bacon of you're in a tight situation.

I love that controller. If you just need one or two extras for Smash or whatnot, get that one. Doesn't do gyro or rumble and is wired, but it's of good quality despite being cheap as fuck
