It's so great that this game had the early Naruto's days as its current story. 2008! So classic and great (helped by the fact that the Chuunin Naruto vs Neji and the Konoha Strike fights vs the Sand trio are fantastic to begin with).

I never got to play the first three storm games but I remember when I bought storm 4 for my 11th birthday I had just finished the original naruto at the end of 2015 and I was starting to watch shippuden, I didn’t even know that the game had only come out a few months prior when I bought it, all I saw was a naruto game and I was in my naruto fanboy phase and man was that one of the best purchases of my life.
This will be my favorite storm game, it had everything that made Naruto Jutsu clashes Running around the village Mini games which involve tree jumping/climbing Ultimates while in awakened mode Free use of awakening before battle Quick time event to prevent an Ultimate Strong blows with the attack button Assist combos And finally *WALL COMBAT*
High key the game should've gave Ino a boxing style that she kinda had in the anime. Her training with Asuma was SHINING when she was coming up with that slow-mo right hook.
I bought the offer where all the storm games like a year and half of now and when I played it, it felt like i went back to my childhood. I never played or watched Naruto back then but it felt like something i would play back then.

As someone who played all of the PS2 Naruto: Narutimate series as they came out back in the day, seeing how ambitious Storm 1 was such a tear jerker for me. Game really is timeless and committed to the integrity of the franchise. One of the few 10 to 10 anime games.
Great work man keep it up, I hope for the next part against the next half, and if possible the other ultimate ninja storm games could also be reccomended.

The QTE in all the storm games are fucking incredible. I remember playing through the later games and my Jaw was on the ground with how good some of those scenes were. Some felt more impactful than when I was watching the anime.
thing that always sat with me playing these games is how hard them quick time event battle scenes went compared to same moments in the anime like i lost my shit every time like the potential!
Awesome to see more of this; props as well to the hilarious casual Orochimaru and Hinata sealing Neji jokes. Both had me pause the video to laugh for a good while. The Giant Battle certainly looked awesome and it's rather ironic that, with exception to Naruto, all of the Chunin matches you do are played from the loser's side (well, draw in Sakura and Ino's case). It's also a real shame that the Sound Trio get skipped out on; Dosu would have been awesome to play as in a Storm game.
I bought this game a few years back since I wanted to play all the storm games. Although, once I played it I was confused cause Gaara and the homies pulled up wanting to fight even though I only played one campaign mission. Then I spent 30 minutes on that fight because you have to meet all the conditions by the end of the fight or you fail and I was just there getting smoked. I didn't know how to get to the rest of the campaign either so I dropped the game until I saw your video lol. It's a shame since it should be easy but watching you helped me play the game so thanks! I hope you keep this series up! This video was hilarious!
man this game was soooo good for its time I forgot all the little naruto details they put in like the tree race to the little cutscenes with the talk no jutsu to racing to the tower so you can get to the tournament arc through the forest of death.
I definitely want this to be a series! I love The Ultimate Ninja Storm series and I play all of them to 100% Completion. I really hope that this might come back!
The storm games are good. I remember playing them as a kid but I didn’t have my own until storm 3. I had storm 3 and then revolution which came after 3. I got really good at the basics In storm 3 and In revolution I met ppl that put me on a whole other level. These guys were advanced and taught me weight dashing, counter dashing, etc. once you learn that stuff plus combos and cancel combos you become a nightmare to other players. The games are actually so amazing one of the best fighting games. And a noob or even an intermediate player can’t really comprehend what’s going on when pros fight eachother. I miss that though I had some legendary fights back then. I knew some of the best of the best some top 100 and even top 10 players. I myself was top ten in storm 4 but gave up due to accidentally deleting my data and thus lost all my characters and presets and the matchmaking system was bad. But yeah I know I would’ve climbed to number one if i didn’t stop. All in all though great series. I no longer have an Xbox though.

If I remember correctly, Ubisoft had a bit of a hand in making a lot of this game's aesthetic gameplay design like the tree-hopping and the free roam in story mode, which may explain why the other Storm games are so different.

Not only should you go through this story mode, you should then go into Storm 2, 3 and then 4. All of them have unique boss fights that make them worth playing.
Yooo! They put out a legacy bundle for the PS spring sale that has all four of the Ultimate Ninja Storm games and it's been taking me BACK. Those games are memory lane if I've ever seen it!
I never got to play this game originally because it was a Playstation exclusive so I started the Storm series with the second game and all the spin-offs since they were on Xbox. When they came out with the box set with all of the games, Storm 1-4 on the Xbox, that's when I was finally able to play the first Storm game and it was fantastic, and I think easily had the best open world exploration.
Its still the best lookin game out of the family of storm games.. I wish they would go back and give us a Naruto game from start to finish kid to teen to adult all villages huge open world all jutsus etc

Storm 3's final cutscene was so clean when Naruto was fighting masked obito and they showed the parallel of his rasengan vs minato's 🥲
