Focal, always pure to what's layed down on the master.
I have the same system, except with an Esoteric N-01XD streamer and a C2700 pre-amp rather than a C12000. It really sounds great. I changed out my Harbeth SHL5+HDs (which sounded great!). The Scallas provide a fuller and more detailed sound. Great with the McIntosh gear.

What makes these speakers sound good are the crossover’s Focal
Used in the speakers. Check the sensitivity on these speakers. If it is 92db to 96db you can successfully power these with almost any amplifier.
Even with a 25 watt tube amplifier. 👍
